Rui's Pov:

"I love you.." Those words ringed in Rui's ears. "In w-what way, Nene?" He asked the blushing girl. Nene seemed stressed. She let go of the hug and looked down. She picked up the gifts I've gifted her and bowed. "T-thank you for your gifts, Rui. I should get going now. I'll give you the costume sketches I've made tomorrow. I'll see you then.." she stuttered as she ran off. I was confused and mixed with a bunch of emotions I couldn't understand. "Dude.. Are you okay?" Tsukasa asked as he got out of his hiding spot. "You fucked up real this time.." I sighed at his words and frowned. "Why would you ask that? I hope Nene-chan is doing okay.." Emu said as she frowned. Tsukasa pat her back to make her feel better. "I have an idea!" Emu shot up with a smile. "What is it?" Tsukasa asked. I looked up to them and listened to Emu's plan. "OK, I'm calling Nene right now to make a meeting plan. Only for her to find out you will be the one meeting her!" Emu said as she took out her phone. She dialed Nene's number and waited for her to open the phone.. "Hello?" Nene answered as she sniffled a bit. "N-Nene-chan.. Are you okay?" Emu asked, concerned about her dearest friend. "Y-yeah, I'm fine. There's nothing to worry about." She said. "Uhm! Can we meet at the Sekai? I need to talk to you about something.." Emu said. "O-oh. Okay. I'll be there in a bit." She said as she hung up on the phone, right on to Emu's face. She was a bit shocked at her friends actions, but she didn't really question it. "Cmon Rui! Go to the Sekai." Tsukasa said. "Good luck!" The two said as Rui went to the Sekai. "R-rui?!" Nene said with her mouth slightly open. "I was supposed to meet with Emu.." she said, avoiding eye contact. "Nene, that was a lie. We planned it out like this so you would meet me.." Nene just looked at the ground. "Look.. I'm sorry." I said as i got closer to her. "Nene, you are, and you have been my best friend for as long as I've lived. You aren't just going to trash it out, right?" I asked in a sad tone. Nene slightly looked up, "N-no" she said. "Then, please. Tell me, what's wrong? What have I done to make you sad?" I asked. "R-rui. I don't know how to tell you this, but.." she got closer to me. I leaned in to her. We were inches apart. "You can tell me, Nene." I said. She blushed at me and looked up to see my face extremely close to hers. She then quickly cupped my cheeks and kissed me. I was really shocked at first, but then I kissed her back. I put my arms around her waist, caressing it. She got a bit closer to me until our chests were touching. She then gently started to play with my hair. We both parted our lips as a string of salavia kept us connected. We both took a moment to look at eachothers eyes, then slowly locked lips again. It was a soft and gentle one. Her lips were so soft, and I wished I could stay like that forever. We then pulled away to breathe and look at each other once again. "I love you, Rui." "I love you too, Nene." She smiled softly as she let go of her grip on me. I did the same as we just stared at one and the other. "Wanna watch the sunset?" I suggested. She nodded and held my hand. Her grip was soft and gentle. We looked at the sky as the sun started to set. I was amazed by how beautiful she looked under the glazing sunset. We stayed like that for an hour until she dozed off on my shoulder. I put my head on hers gently and enjoyed the rest of our time. Peacefully and beautifully in love....
