"Alright girls, last round for the day... 5,6,7,8..."

Soyeon led the dance practice for their title track. In a week, their new album 'I Burn' will be released... As usual Soyeon was the main producer and wrote most of their tracks. Soyeon worked day and night for this album without even taking care of her health... This time, Yuqi and Minnie are joining her as their main producers. She is really proud of how far they have all come as a group... Soyeon still remembers how she had to literally beg the directors to let her and her members learn songwriting and production...
'' if male idols can do it, why can't I? ''

Now, they are an inspiration for many female idols to learn production and be more involved in the creative side...
Their journey as a group has never been easy. Since debut, they worked hard to get where they are now. Without even knowing, Soyeon sacrificed many things for her group...She had to, or she believed she had to...

"oh my god! I can't feel my legs anymore.."
- Yuqi dropped to the ground after finishing their last round of practice for Hwaa... The girls have been practicing non - stop for the comeback... After the year end awards and shows, they took a rest for two days and went back to training...

"Here, drink it" - Soyeon gave a bottle of water to Yuqi and lied beside her on the ground. Yuqi laid her head on top of Soyeon's arm, while others joined them on the floor, except for Shuhua, who was very busy watching Soojin's Artist of the Month performance video for the hundredth time.... All of them were tired from the practice... 2020 was a tough year with the world tour being cancelled due to COVID and having to perform the online concert without an audience, it all added a lot to the members nerves .... Oh My God was an international hit. Now, they are coming back with Hwaa, hoping to level up their achievements. They can't afford to be lazy.

After a few minutes of resting, the members decided to head home. Soyeon stayed back at the company as she had to do some final edits for the b-sides... It was already 11.30 at night. The girls decided to walk as their apartment was just 10 minutes away from CUBE. As they were close to the apartment, Soojin and Shuhua parted ways to buy some food from the convenience store...

Soojin and Shuhua were walking by the river side back from the store... Shuhua linked her arms with Soojin as it was too cold for her...

"Jin-ah~~ you wanna know a crazy thing?"
  - Shuhua looked at the elder one with her excited puppy face as Soojin simply nodded to the smiley girl...

"I have seen this before...I am not even kidding, I saw a dream where I was walking with someone by the river... This all feels like a dejavú..."

Soojin looked at Shuhua with full of amusement as she went on with her story about one of her dreams... Soojin always had a soft spot for the Taiwanese girl... When she first came to Korea, she was alone and struggled a lot with her language skills. Being away from family, in a different country, without any friends, without anyone to turn to, was a lot for the 16 year old Shuhua... Soojin once saw her crying after a practice session alone in their room... She didn't know how to comfort the younger one, but she knew how to be there for her... Since then, they have always been together.... The younger one adored her unnie too, like a sister......
That thought shot a pain through Soojin's heart ... Soojin knew her love for the younger girl wasn't that platonic, even though she forced her to believe it was... Soojin remembered her words to Yuqi some days ago...

**When you fall for someone, there really is no reason for it. But you have to be brave enough to let it blossom into a beautiful relationship. Even if you think you are saving your friendship, it's just hurting you even more**

She said those words from her own experience... In her school days, Soojin was a popular girl...Both boys and girls  wanted to court her ... It's not a secret that she had some relationships before she debuted. Her and her ex Hui's relationship was made public years ago... They had already broken up at that point, but it was enough for everyone to know what her preference was... Soojin believed she was only into men, until she met Shuhua... At first, she ignored it as a silly girl crush...But as the years went by, her love towards the Taiwanese girl only grew stronger... But for Soojin, it was hard to accept it... She knew that her family was homophobic and that they would never accept her being in love with a woman. So she had no choice but to hide herself. To suffer in silence... She chose to break herself so as to not break other's hearts...

She knows that her advice to Yuqi's was the exact opposite of what she is doing... But she wanted Yuqi to not make the same mistake as her...

Soojin never talked about her real feelings to anyone. Not even Soyeon, her best friend...

She wanted to shower the younger one with all her love, but Soojin knew the love and care Shuhua showed towards her might change if she revealed that she liked Shuhua more than a best friend, more than just a soul mate...

***What she didn't know, was that the younger girl loved her the same way...***
