Shubman's pov:-

The sun shines brightly. The sunshine entering the room through the window casting a golden glow on everything it touches.

The birds were chirping outside. The sound of children playing outside could also be heard. Light wind was blowing outside making the leaves on the trees to move a bit.

It was a cheerful day but not for me. I was sitting on the couch with an untouched glass of coffee.

I feel the weight of sadness pressing down on me. I can't help but feel out of place when the world around me is filled with joy but my heart is filled with hopelessness.

I took a deep breath trying to ignore the sound coming from outside. I grabbed the TV remote and turned it's volume up in an attempt to divert my mind from the sound coming from outside.

The news broadcasts the cases of missing people, murder, accidents, weather, political scandals but I can't bring myself to focus on any of it.

I thought that the police would have found Ishan by now but no news of him. It's like he completely disappeared from the world.

Fliers are posted at every park and alleyways near our home. Each day, I wait for any news of Ishan while sitting on couch.

Sometimes I even fell asleep in the early hours of morning so Tilak turns off the TV.

My phone keeps getting calls from news reporters to get any information about Ishan to make headlines with.

The world around me continues to spin while my world has totally stopped.

"Are you trying to bust my eardrums." Tilak said while taking the remote from me and adjusting the volume.

He sits beside me and pulls me towards his side into a side hug. The hug was comforting.

Both of us didnot spoke for sometime. The silence around us was not awkward or uncomfortable instead it was strangely comforting.

"Why don't you go and take a shower? Then we can go to the park and put on some more fliers maybe." He said while rubbing my arms gently trying to lighten the mood.

I nodded my head and got up from the couch and went to the bathroom.

End of Shubman's pov.

Abhishek's pov:-

I got home after doing some grocery shopping. After coming home, I went to the kitchen to make something for all of us.

After spending some time in the kitchen I went to Tilak and handed him a glass of coffee.

"Here you go." I said while giving Tilak the glass of coffee.

"Where were you?" He asked while taking the coffee from me.

"I went to do some grocery shopping." I said while sitting on the couch beside him and taking the remote from him to change the channel.

"Where is Shubman? Don't tell me that  he didn't drink the coffee that I made for him." I said while looking at the glass which looked untouched.

"He is taking a shower. Just let it go. He would have not feel like drinking it. We can't force him to drink it or he will just throw up." Tilak said while patting my back slowly with his one hand.

"He is becoming more and more depressed day by day." I said while looking at him who sipped his coffee and looked back at me.

"You are right but we can't do anything about it. Can we?" Tilak said while leaning on the couch.
