Jenna's POV
"Hey" Tay greeted me
"Oh my god your hair looks so good" I said and examined her new haircut,she had cut it short and the ends were a frosty blue colour,it really suited her.
"Aww,thanks" she smiled,she looked so pretty when she smiled.
We chatted about a lot of stuff,mainly bands and whether or not I should dye my hair green.I loved talking to Tay,she was like a little ball of positivity and it was hard not to smile when we talked.I've never really had a lot of friends so when we talked it made me feel special,it made me feel happy.I'd always get butterflies when I would see a message from her show up on my phone and I wished that we lived closer so that I could meet her in person.She was easily becoming one of my best friends,but a small part of me kind of wanted more.Nobody had ever made me that happy aside from Tay and as much as I loved her as a friend I couldn't help but want her to be a lot more then just my friend.I liked her,like liked her,but I really didn't want to ruin our friendship.I didn't even know if she's in a relationship or her sexuality,I really needed to find out.
"So" Tay started "How are things?"
"What things?" I asked
"Just life in general" she said
"Pretty complicated" I told her and looked at my shoes
"Why?Whats wrong?" She asked curiously
"Well,there's this person that I like and I don't know how to tell them that I like them" I said
"They're one of my friends and I don't want to ruin the friend ship that we've built" I told her and she thought about what advice she could give me, I hoped that what I had told her hadn't made it too obvious that it was her that I liked,I didn't think it did.
"Well,if you like them and they're single then try to make a move,but you've got to see if they like you back or not because you don't want to ruin your friendship" she advised "Have they given you any signals that they like you too?" She asked
"No,none at all" I replied
"Then try to find out before you do anything else" she said
"Thanks,Tay" I thanked her
"No problem" she smiled.
