Tay's POV
"So,how was your anniversary date with Alexa?" I asked Lynn as I held my phone between my ear and shoulder so that I could fold laundry
"It started to rain just as I laid out the picnic blanket so it fucking sucked" she told me
"Oh,that's a shame" I said "Would you and Alexa mind helping me and Jordan out with something?" I asked her
"Yeah sure,what do you need help with?" She said
"I'm going to surprise Jenna with something" I replied
"Okay,we'll be over in a bit" she informed me
"Can you pick Jordan up on the way?" I asked
"Sure,how come?" She said
"He broke his drivers seat,he pushed it back too far and it broke" I told her
"He is too lanky for his own good" she laughed "See you soon" she said still laughing
"See you" I laughed.
I went out into the kitchen and began to find the ingredients I needed to bake a carrot cake,Jenna had told me that she was vegan and I found a recipe for vegan carrot cake so I thought this would be perfect. I was going to surprise her by making us a bunch of food and it was going to be for our first date. I decided to make us a cake and I bought us apples,watermelon,carrots and I found a vegan store that sold the stuff I needed to make cookies so I made those too.I made sure that these were all foods that she liked
I was about to place the cake mixture into the oven when I heard a knock on the door.I quickly placed it in and went to answer the door,I was greeted by Lynn,Jordan and Alexa.
"Hey" Alexa greeted
"Hey,come in" I said
"So what do you need help with?" Jordan asked as me and him sat on the couch while Lynn and Alexa sat on the one opposite
"Basically,I'm trying to create the perfect first date for me and Jenna" I told them
"Did you bring those fairy lights that I texted you about?" I asked Lynn
"Yep" she said and pulled them out of her bag
"Great,thanks" I thanked her "Lynn you're the best cook so I need you to help me out in the kitchen"
"Okay" she said
"Jordan,I need you and Alexa to help me set up the area where it's gonna happen" I informed them
"Okay" Jordan and Alexa replied in unison
"Let's go" I smiled and we all went to where we needed to go.
I lead Alexa and Jordan into the garage to my mom's pick up truck and explained to them what I wanted us to do to it.We started by laying out some blankets and pillows and the scattering the strings of fairy lights around.Lynn brought us out the cake and cookies in plastic containers,I put them in my bag and left them in the front of the car.I rolled the top over the back of the truck and we all went back inside.I sat down on the couch next to Lynn and Alexa and put on a movie.
I watched Lynn and Alexa as they hugged and pecked each other's cheeks.I thought about how very soon that would be me and Jenna,It caused a smile to form on my lips and butterflies to flutter around in my stomach.

I ran out from my house and got into my car,Jenna's flight would land in half an hour.I began driving to the airport and was there within a quarter of an hour.I leant over into the back of the car to grab my sign and practically skipped my way to the airport's meeting point because I was so excited.
Jenna's POV
I grabbed my stuff from under the seat and waited to exit the plane for the final time today.I was so excited to meet Tay that I considered jumping over every seat to get to her faster but fortunately line of people started to move out of the plane and I couldn't stop smiling.
We made our way to baggage claim and through customs,I was half dragging my parents because they were walking way too slow. I looked down at my phone to see that I had a message from Tay.

I practically ran to the meeting point because I was so excited,I got there and there was a huge crowd and I couldn't see Tay.I began searching in the crowd for her.
Tay's POV
A huge crowd of people had formed in the meeting point while I checked my phone for a message from Jenna.My a attention was turned away from my phone when I could hear my name being called in a gorgeous Aussie voice that I knew belonged to Jenna.
"Tay!" She shouted
"Jen!" I shouted back and moved into the crowd,still clutching my sign
"Tay,where are you?!" She asked
"I'm over here!" I shouted back
I stopped in my tracks when I saw a girl with short green hair in front of me,she was facing the opposite direction and hadn't seen me yet.I felt butterflies again,but they were a lot bigger then before.
"Where is 'here'?!" She asked loudly
"Right here" I said loud enough for her to hear.
She spun around and ran into my arms,leaving her stuff where she previously stood.She hugged my so hard when she reached me that we both fell onto the floor.She was crying tears of joy,at least I hoped they were tears of joy.
"I can't believe your real" she whispered and nuzzled her head in my neck
"I can't believe this is real" I whispered back.
We remained this way for a while,it was perfect.I happily would've stayed there all day.
