Earlier, the brothers slept in a soundless sleep. Bumblebee's eyes then started to open. He yawned and then shook his brother awake. "Hiveblast?"

Hiveblast opened his eyes and turned his head to face his brother. "Yeah, Bee?"

"You need to fly out and head to this certain spot." Bumblebee planted a location into his mind and how to get there.

"Okay ... but why?" Hiveblast asked.

"You'll run into an Autobot search party who are looking for us," Bumblebee explained. "And Nightscreech has already told the Autobots about my Infinity Power Shards energy."

"How do you know that they won't take me away and continue to look for you?" Hiveblast asked with concern in his voice.

"They won't," Bumblebee reassured him. "Their leader, Optimus Prime, told them not to use force and to show us that they mean no harm."

"Alright." Hiveblast got up, but Bumblebee knew he wasn't comfortable leaving him alone while he was recovering. Going out onto the edge where the hole was, he looked back at his brother. "Are you sure-?"

"I'll be fine," Bumblebee reassured him in an upbeat tone. "Besides, I can get away pretty easily."

"If you say so, little brother." Hiveblast opened his wings and took off. As he flew, he sighed heavily. "Stop worrying," he told himself, "it's only one and a half miles, and Bee knows where I'm at if he gets into trouble." Coming up onto the block, he swopped down, landed, and waited for the party. An hour had passed before the Autobots appeared. "About time you showed up," Hiveblast remarked dryly. Looking at them, he saw that Optimus wasn't with them. "Where's your leader?"

"He's with those Predacon friends of yours," the Autobots' group leader told him. "Are you Bumblebee or Hiveblast?"

"Hiveblast," he answered. "And for the record, I'm not actually a predacon. I'm just one of Shockwave's experiments."

"Huh, no wonder why he looks weird for a predacon," an Autobot commented.

"I'm right here and I can melt you with my fire in four seconds," Hiveblast snapped. "And that's not me threatening you." They stared at him for a moment.

"Optimus," the Autobots' group leader called over the comms, "we found Hiveblast, but his brother is not with him."

"Where are you, Ultra Magnus?" Optimus responded.

"Next to the broken statues of the Original Primes," Ultra Magnus told him.

"Stay where you are, we'll be there soon. Optimus out."

"Guess we'll be waiting," Hiveblast said, before flapping up onto a pole.

Back where Bumblebee was, he was peacefully resting with his eyes closed. The fire crackled softly with its warm fingertips touching him. But the next thing he heard was a click. Before he knew it, Decepticon Seekers' hands were holding him down. They had slipped a new kind of collar onto his neck that locked him out of being able to use his powers. He thrashed as hard as he could to break free.

"Hurry up!"

The sound of something powering up echoed in the room. "Put it on!" the Seeker's commander ordered.

No! Bumblebee's eyes widened with horror; it was the harness. A new one but it was a harness, nonetheless. Bumblebee had an ominous feeling of what it could do and what it was designed for. Not wanting to suffer the harness again, he thrashed once more and this time he broke free. Leaping to his feet, he bolted out the hole and flew into the night sky.

"After him!" The Seekers transformed and flew after Bumblebee.

I have to get to Hiveblast before they catch me! Bumblebee thought in a panic. Flapping hard and making sharp turns, he managed to get close to the area where Hiveblast was. With all his lung nut capacity he shouted, "HIVEBLAAAAST! HEEELLP!" Only a few moments later, he heard Hiveblast's fire balls behind him. He glanced back and saw his brother breathing as many fire balls as he could, one after the other. That was when Optimus blasted the Seekers' wings. Their leader was the last one. The Seeker transformed and revealed himself.

Starscream?! Hiveblast's mind exclaimed.

Starscream pulled out a controller and both Rivalle and Hiveblast shouted, "Bumblebee!" The last thing Bumblebee remembered before the enclosure of darkness was their shouting, and the worst crash landing ever.
