Chapter 8

After Bumblebee made sure that everyone in his home solar system was in safe areas, he headed into a chamber that only HE could access. Locking the door behind him, he went to the center and paused. Taking a deep breath, he called out in a loud voice, "Watcher! We need to talk!" Closing his eyes, a soft, multi-colored glow emanated from his body and showed in his eyes when he opened them.

A being in human form appeared in front of him. "Bumblebee, it's been a while," he said cordially.

"Spare the small talk, Watcher!" Bumblebee snapped. "Did you know that the Sclavuse race were taking Predacons from my universe into their own?!"

"What?" The surprise on Watcher's face gave away he didn't.

"How did you not know?!" Bumblebee demanded. "You're the guardian of the Multiverse! Arrgg!"

"I was ... busy," Watcher told him.

"WITH WHAT?!" Bumblebee growled in frustration.

"Bumblebee, fifty universes were near the brink of crashing into one another. And if that happened," he paused, "it would drag all in the multiverse with it. Excepting me."

Bumblebee crossed his arms. "How does time move differently in that universe?"

"One year equals, three years."

"Then I should start looking for them," Bumblebee glanced at Watcher.

"You want me to help you," Watcher stated flatly.

"It'll make this faster," Bumblebee explained.

"I'm going to help you in every way I can," Watcher assured him. "If this continues, it could spread to other universes."

"Alright, then let's get started."

"Take my hand." Watcher held his arm out to Bumblebee, which Bumblebee glanced at. "I already know which universes to look at." Unfolding his arms, he took Watcher's hand and they disappeared from the room.
