I wish I could be that space in the sky
Where I stare and there's no clear end
To the mist that runs over a place I knew
And wipes it out, marking it insignificantI want to be that person who sees you coming
And manages to build a wall so high
That you think the top is the bottom
So you stop trying before you're disappointedI yearn for a time where I can sit at the top
And feel just as powerful and strong
As the man who sits at the bottom
Counting his soupy limbs to sell themI long to fly away from here, and you, and me
To sit on a star-speckled ruin of stone
And watch as my entire beautiful future
Passes me by.
