*From here on out in the story Alexis and Chloe will mostly be referred to as Alex and Cole. They may refer to each other with their girl names or girl nicknames in private, but for the most part their guy names will be used. This will also be the case when we say whose POV it is. Hopefully we won't confuse you too much!*
(Cole)
I slurped down the last of my deliciously chocolaty shake and sat back with a satisfied sigh. Looking around the table, I saw that everyone else was nearly done. Matt finished licking every last drop of cheese off his plate before wiping his mouth and declaring it to be time to leave.
Our group headed to the front desk to pay. Kate started to search through her monstrous five-gallon Coach purse for her wallet but Alex stopped her.
"Don't bother, Kate," Lex said with an evil grin. I couldn't wait to see what she had up her sleeve. She whipped out a debit card. "Matt's got it."
I laughed so hard I nearly cried; Matt's reaction was hilarious! He stared at the card in shock for a second before his brain realized what Alex had said. With a face of pure horror he began frantically searching for his wallet. When he finally found it in his back pocket he snatched it out and opened it to see that his card was indeed missing. By that point Lex was at the counter paying for the meal. Matt watched her, mouth agape as she entered his pin and gathered the receipt.
"H-how...how...huh?" Matt stammered in shock. I nodded at Alex in approval, impressed that she had gotten his pin number.
"Oh, Alex," Kate murmured, shaking her head. She had a grin on her face too, but she was trying to hide it for the sake of her poor, victimized boyfriend.
"I know you said to keep it a secret but we aren't gonna see these guys for a while so...I just couldn't resist." Lex didn't look the least bit apologetic.
"Wait." Oh look, lover-boy found his tongue. "Keep what a secret?"
"Well, I'm kind of a master pickpocket and hacker," Alexis replied nonchalantly as she strolled towards the exit.
"And I'm a black belt in karate," I informed Matt seriously as I followed Lex. I could feel his doubt from three feet away.
"You?" Matt clearly didn't believe me. "But you're tiny."
"You've never seen Ouran have you?" I asked, receiving a head shake. He seemed confused as to how the question was relevant. "Didn't think so. Well, do you really want me to prove it?"
He declined. I guess he didn't want to risk getting his butt kicked by his girlfriend's little sister. Good choice.
We got in the car and drove back to Green Acre where we said our goodbyes. After a few noogies and plenty of hugs Matt and Kate left for home and Lex and I headed to the dorms.
We stepped into my room to find that nothing had changed since we left. "Guess my roomie still hasn't come." I collapsed onto a beanbag. "Wonder when he'll get here."
Lex plopped down beside me. "I don't think mine's here either." We sat in silence for a while before she launched upright. "Hey, did you bring that?" she asked, with eyes sparkling like stars.
I knew instantly what she was referring to. "Duh, like we could survive the school year without it. You wanna play?"
"Yes! Let's get this party started!" she exclaimed with yet another fist pump.
"Alright I'll set it up. Go get your-" I stopped talking as she flew out of the room. Dang, that girl would be amazing in track. She would probably go out for it too, if she weren't already a star soccer player.
