Chapter 11

He stopped a few inches away from me, his eyes searching my face as if looking for something.

"What are you doing?"I asked as he leaned in closer to me, my heart beat increasing.

He didn't answer , only when he moved away did I realise he was just trying to get a hold on a pebble by my foot.

My cheeks heated up in embarrassment, what did I think he was doing?

"Why aren't you at the party?"he asked throwing the pebble into the water.

"Like you don't know."I mumbled remembering the play.

He turned to study me again, tongue in cheek."You mind explaining that statement."

"You honestly don't know?"I accused, how could the leader of the group not know what his members were doing.

"It really doesn't matter why you left."he finally said .

What did he just say?

I really didn't have to stay here and listen to him, I spun around on my heels and started to walk away.

"You shouldn't be here Gabriella."

I turned back around to face him."This is a school isn't it,I don't see why I can't be here."I snapped.

"This isn't a place for a princess."he stated calmly.

"But its a place for a Prince?"I asked .

He sighed."Do what you like , it doesn't matter to me.We're having a football match tomorrow, you should come, get to know some of the students."

My eyes widened, he actually invited me to see one of his football matches?

"Getting to know people sounds good...but I would rather get to know you instead."I whispered.

I can't believe I just said that!

Justin's eyes widened , I suddenly felt as though I had crossed some line.His face hardened and he looked away from me immediately.

"That's not possible."he finally said."It's best that we don't get to know each other, ever."

What was so bad in us getting to know each other?

I didn't wait for him to say more, he made it quite clear that he didn't like me.

At least now I had an idea why my parents kept telling me to stay away from good fairies.

"Someone dressed up nicely today."Lily teased walking into the room.

I blushed."I'm just dressing for a football match."I said smiling looking at myself in the mirror, I wore a yellow top with a short white skirt.My hair was in a ponytail and my make up very light,I looked nice for a change.

She chuckled."It more looks to me like you're dressing to catch someone's attention."

My eyes widened."No I'm not."I disagreed.
