Fairy Kingdom

Chapter 7

"Wait—"

Lily looked on in shock as a group of students barged into the room, all of them had a look of excitement on their faces.

"It really is you."they screeched.I looked on in disbelief at their excitement to see me.

"Princess."they added with a bow.

I was beyond shocked, no one had ever done something like this before , I mean I was always locked up in my room so I never got to meet any of the fairies from our kingdom , at least I assumed they were from our kingdom.I mean good fairies hated me.

"Um...there is no need to bow, I presume all of you are from my kingdom?"I inquired.

They nodded their heads."I'm Rachel."a girl with bright red hair and violet eyes said brightly at me.

"And I'm Jasper."

"I'm Ellie."

"And I'm Bridget."

"I'm Alice."

"And I'm John."

I smiled at them happily, they looked like they really were genuinely glad to see me.

"And I'm Gabriella."I grinned at them, my sudden confidence surprising me.

Lily stepped forward."And I'm Lily."she chimed in.

"Its very nice to know you all."I said sincerely.

"Thank you, we're very happy to finally meet you also."they all replied at the same time.

I giggled and smiled at all of them shyly.

"You're beautiful ."John exclaimed while one of the girls, Bridget I think, shot him a glare and he quickly looked away.

No one else seemed to know quite what to say after that , making me a little uncomfortable.

" Well I guess we should get going now, we really just wanted to see what you looked like and if you really were the princess.So again it was nice meeting you and hope to see you in class tomorrow."Rachel beamed excitedly.

I smiled."Sure tomorrow, bye."

"Bye."

"See ya."

"Tomorrow."

" Yeah tomorrow."

" It was nice meeting you, bye."

Lily shut the door quietly behind her with a smirk on her face."Well, I guess you just made new friends."

I laughed."I guess so." I replied looking out the window for the second time today seeing someone I wasn't sure I wanted to see,my heart thudded, stuttered and then picked up again in double time.

Justin Cliff.

He was playing football now, I didn't know they played football at this school.It was more a human sport, at least that was what I was told.

He had a body that you couldn't help but admire, the way he flexed  to hit the ball showed of all his muscles, his hair falling on his face as he ran past the defenders and kicked —kicked straight for a goal!

I had this sudden uncontrollable urge to be down there screaming his name, supporting him, an urge in which I tried my best to ignore.

His entire team ran towards him, lifting him up off the ground, I guess he really was the best at everything here.

What he did next though made it almost impossible for me to breathe—he looked up as if sensing me watching him , our gazes locked and I did the only sane thing I could think off—I ducked!

"Um Gabriella, why are you on the ground?"Lily asked amused.

"Huh?I-I ...I fell."I stuttered as I pushed myself up from the ground totally embarrassed.

She laughed at that."You're pretty funny you know."she teased.

I glared at her but then smiled , at least she didn't know I was on the ground because of my enemy Justin Cliff.

Which really didn't make any sense, I couldn't possibly have an attraction towards the schools' most popular student who just happens to be the prince of good fairies.Could I?

The right answer was obviously no, which in this case was true.

I was only attracted to his looks, any girl who saw a guy looking like that will be attracted to him.That was all it was, a physical attraction.

"What are you studying so?"

"Um...nothing really, I'm just worried about my first day of classes that's all."I lied.

"Trust me you'll love your first day, the professors give special treatment to royalty."

I'm sure that wasn't the case for Bad fairies.

"And don't think that because you're a bad fairy which is just your title that they wouldn't treat you specially, you're a princess and that's all."she added as if reading my mind.

I smiled and nodded my head "I hope you're right."

There was only one way to know, and for that I had to wait until tomorrow.

"How do I look?"Lily asked looking at herself in the mirror.

"You look pretty."

She really did look pretty, I on the other hand didn't look all that good, I dressed normal, I didn't want to get any attention, definitely not like my first day.

"Thank you...What are you wearing?"she asked with a gasp looking at me.

"What's wrong with this?"I asked looking at my green sweater and blue jeans.

"I can't believe that's what you're wearing on your first day."she exclaimed.

"I don't want to get any attention and I can't change , we're running late for class."

Lily sighed picking up her books and wand from the desk.

"Why do we need wands for our powers?"I asked confused picking up my books.

"It helps us train better, when you master your powers then you wouldn't need it anymore."

Well that made sense, I guess.

"Okay let's go."I said walking out the door.

My official first day of school was about to begin...
