"i'm back." fernando said as he walked in with a bag full of clothes.

"thank god, i was starting to think you'd died." aurora laughed. fernando sat down on the chair next to her.

"just about, the traffic out there is so bad." fernando said, reaching for his phone and unlocking it. "i saw your tweet, it wasn't on you. it was on the car, aurora." she just sat in silence, her hand was still in pain, obviously. the doctor had of course put it in a cast but until the operation there was nothing she could do about it. she hated that feeling, helplessness. she hated not being able to do anything. more tears began to swell at her eyes as she bit her lip, she didn't realise fernando was still looking at her, focusing on her body language.

then suddenly, her breathing picked up and she began breathing rapidly, to the point where she panicked herself that much she couldn't breathe at all. she felt hopeless. but fernando noticed, instantly jumping off his chair and next to her. her eyes looked around the room hopelessly, her body beginning to slightly shake.

"nando.." she choked out. he had fear in his eyes as tears streamed down her cheeks. he knew what this was, it was a panic attack.

"hey, hey." he said as he grabbed onto her shoulders. "look at me." fernando said, more calmly. her eyes darted around her face until they found his eyes, it was like they went on forever, she could explore them for all a lifetime. they was almost like a forest, but one with a force field around it, protecting her. "follow my breathing.. in... and out." fernando began, repeating the same words over and over again. he wiped the tears from her cheeks with his thumb, as her breathing was still not back to normal. her body almost softened under his touch, but it wasn't enough to calm her down.

"i can't breathe." she said quickly as she clutched onto him. he climbed into the bed and hugged her carefully, he didn't want to injure her. his arms wrapped around her body, her hand gripped onto his shoulder, her head rested on his chest.

"in..and out." fernando began again, the worry still in his eyes, but it was beginning to wear away as he began to hear her breaths returning to normal.

"thank you." she murmured into his shoulder, her hand still clutched onto his back. "i'm sorry, i-" she began as she pulled away from him as she realised how tight she was grabbing onto him.

"don't apologise, amour. you did nothing wrong." fernando whispered softly, his chin resting on her head. "you did give me a fright though, silly woman." fernando laughed, she laughed as well. he smiled at the sound of her laugh, the laugh he felt like he hadn't heard enough today. he got off of the bed carefully, it wasn't a big bed and she wouldn't of had enough room for her hand if her stayed there. he pulled his chair close to the hospital bed, his hand resting on hers. "you were so brave today." fernando said softly, watching the tv that was in the room. "you really showed everyone how strong you are."

"ask the male f1 fans." she said, she hated the fact that she was hated because of her gender. she was good at what she did, so why did people have to say stuff?

"well they're all just sexist. you got a podium in your first formula one race. you're a rookie and you scored a podium, you're 3rd in the championship!" fernando said, encouraging her.

"yeah well my points are about to go very down." she said. "can we not talk about racing? i just don't want to talk about if anymore.." she asked.

"of course. what should we talk about?" fernando asked, now struggling with a subject to talk about. now that she was put on the spot, she didn't know what to talk about either.

"i don't know.." she said softly, biting back a smile.

"you should have some rest then, aurora. it's almost 10." fernando said, his hand was still resting on hers.
