the next morning, aurora woke up first to the smell of fernando infront of her. all of the memories from the night before flooded back to her, how his hands trailed up and down her body, how his eyes looked lovingly back into hers. she couldn't get it out of her mind, if she could play it on repeat for the rest of her life, she would.

the day had to start as some point, but not yet. she thought, she could stay here for longer. she settled back into his arms, smiling to herself. fernando's light snores making her tired again. she didn't know the time, she didn't really care. all she cared about right now was fernando, she couldn't help but lie there and imagine her life with him.

summers in spain, the smell of expensive wine, sneaking around together, it was so perfect in her mind.

"hey." a tired voice pulled her out of her thoughts. she froze, but her body relaxed again when she realised it was only fernando. his warm hands wrapping around her waist again. she smiled to herself.

"hi." she said softly, looking up at him. he looked so breathtaking right now. fernando smiled at her and her brows furrowed. "what?" she asked.

"you look so perfect right now." fernando said, kissing her forehead, a layer of pink now coating her cheeks. she smiled and snuggled into his chest.

ring, ring

fernando groaned, reaching over to his bed side table and grabbing his phone. he sat up on the bed.

"it's frederick vasseur." he said before picking it up. "hello?" all aurora could hear was a muffled frenxh accent.

"how is aurora? is she well?" fred said, making fernando turn to her.

"yeah, she's good, i can wake her and you can talk to her if you want." fernando said, smirking at aurora.

"no, there's no need for that. is she recovering well?" fred asked. aurora grabbed onto fernando's arm, trying to pull him back into bed.

"uhh...yeah, she's um, she's recovering well. we should be able to start training soon." he said, falling back into the bed and bringing aurora back into his embrace.

"that's good to hear. can you just remind her to call me later on today?" fred said. fernando looked at her.

"yeah, of course i can." fernando replied, his voice was slightly high because of how he was lying.

they talked for another two minutes before they said their goodbyes.

"thank god." aurora said, once she knew the phone call was over.

"i don't get why he calls me to ask about you." fernando laughed, sitting up. "come on, i'll make you breakfast!" he said, picking her up and walking towards the door.

fernando placed her on his counter, the cold marble on the back of her thighs sending a shiver down her spine. his hands rested on his thighs before he went to the fridge and grabbed some bacon.

"bacon sandwich?" fernando said, aurora smiled, nodding her head. fernando turned on the ring before placing the pan on the heat.

"when can i start training again?" aurora asked, looking at fernando.

"maybe in like 2 weeks, but you're gonna have to be strong. it can be really hard, i know you can do it though." fernando replied, placing the bacon in the pan.

soon enough, they were both sat on the sofa. aurora had the bacon sandwich in her hand, she looked at the tv, watching a random show on netflix. she looked across the sofa to fernando, he was already looking at her. a light shade of pink flooded her cheeks, before she looked back at the tv. fernando was getting closer to her every time she looked at him.
