He gripped her hand and wrist with all of his strength as he struggled to keep from falling off of the ledge of the building. He stared deeply into her eyes as she stared back at him, tears streaming down her face. The rain poured down as the roaring thunder of the night drowned out the sounds of the bustling city that lay far beneath them. Suddenly, he began to sense the presence of the android coming up behind him.
Jennifer 6 stared lovingly into his eyes when she suddenly looked past his shoulder at what was behind him. She quickly looked back at him with shock and fear. But then, her face slowly became peaceful. She smiled at him and he back at her. He utterly refused to take his eyes off of her to look behind him, for the last thing he ever wanted to see, was Jennifer 6.
