Y/N POV

The day promised to be packed with excitement and adventure. As Taeyeon and I cradled our daughters, Jimin, four years old, and Aeri, two years old, I couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement within us. Our daughters' laughter filled the air.

"Are you ready for some stories, my little princesses?" I inquired with a cheeky gleam in my eyes.

Jimin's eyes widened in anticipation, and her smooth hair bounced as she nodded eagerly. "Yes, Appa! I want to hear a princess story."

Aeri, still clutching her favourite plush bunny, responded with an enthusiastic "Stowy, Appa!"

With our kids cradled in our arms, we entered the living room, where I had already set up a warm spot just for story time. The space was bathed in gentle, golden light, with sunshine flowing through the drapes to create a warm and inviting ambiance. The soft, luxurious blankets and pillows were carefully arranged to create a cosy reading area.

Jimin and Aeri cuddled into the cushions in between their eomma, their eyes shining with excitement. They were like two young explorers, preparing to embark on an epic journey across the pages of their favourite books.

Jimin suggested a beautifully illustrated version of Cinderella. While Aeri hugged her bunny and the cushion securely, she pointed to The Jungle Book as her pick. Their choices reflected their individual traits, with Jimin enjoying fairy stories and Aeri fascinated by animals.

I got on to my seat and started reading, and the words flowed easily from the pages, filling their little faces with delight as they entered the wonderful realms of Cinderella and Mowgli. My calming voice filled the room, and the girls were thoroughly absorbed in the stories.

However, it wasn't long until their creative imaginations took control. Jimin's eyes twinkled with imagination as she glanced up at me. "Appa, what if Cinderella had a pet dragon instead of a fairy godmother?"

I couldn't help but smile at her creative twist. "Well, then, Cinderella and her dragon would go to the royal ball and have a grand adventure, wouldn't they?"

Jimin's eyes shone with eagerness. "Yes, and the dragon would wear a shiny crown, just like Cinderella!"

Before we knew it, the stories had evolved into stories inside stories, and they were thoroughly absorbed in the plot they had made. As Aeri's small fingers touched the pictures of Mowgli and Baloo in the book, she glanced up at Taeyeon with a wide-eyed gaze and an excited voice. "Eomma, what if Mowgli and Baloo met a friendly elephant in the jungle?"

Taeyeon couldn't help but be fascinated by her creativity. "A friendly elephant, Aeri?" That sounds like a great idea! What would they do together?"

Aeri's eyes shone with enthusiasm. "They would dance, Eomma, just like this!" She stood up and started doing an impromptu dance, wiggling and spinning her little body, and I couldn't help but join in, awkwardly copying her movements.

Jimin, attracted by the dance, interrupted her Cinderella tale to join us. "Appa, in my Cinderella story, she does not require a fairy godmother. She owns a wonderful rainbow carriage that can fly to the ball!"
