A period of silence follows.
"K-king of the pirates? You are pirates?" You say nervously as you take a step back.
Annabelle whimpers and hides behind you.
"Yeah! But don't worry, we're good pirates," says Luffy confidently.
Usopp had finally uncrossed his arms and turned back to look at you.
"You may not believe us, but we don't care much about treasure... well maybe except Nami..." Usopp says.
"N-Nami? Is she a pirate in your crew as well?" you ask cautiously.
Sanji nods, heart filling his eyes at the second.
"Nami-sann is so beautiful when stealing treasure... that glorious smile on her face..."
Usopp rolls his eyes, and you can't help but roll your eyes as well.
"So.. good pirates hey? What are you doing here?"
All three of them answer at the same time.
"Looking for meat," says Luffy.
"Looking for the rest of our crew," says Usopp.
"Looking for beautiful girls," says Sanji.
Typical.
"Well whatever y'all are doing here, you need to go. If anyone in the village finds out that pirates are here.." you suck in a deep breath slowly. "They will definitely destroy you."
Luffy laughs confidently.
"Don't worry, we'll be leaving soon, as long as we can stock up on some food and resources first."
"You're not going to be able to get resources here I'm afraid. No one in the village would dare give you anything, you're lucky that we aren't reporting you.." you say.
Usopp sighs.
"Oh well, at least we tried." he says, starting to head out.
Just then, we hear a shout.
"Y/N? What are these people doing inside your house? Who are they? And what happened to your window?"
You look up and see Jana, your friend, staring at you in shock. Dang it. You forgot that your window faced Jana's backyard.
"Errmm... these a-are just some friends of mine!" you stutter, not wanting her to find out that they were pirates.
Luffy looked at you with a questioning look.
"Friends? We only just met!"
You glare at Luffy and hope that Jana didn't hear that. Unfortunately though, she did.
"Y/N? Are you lying to me?" she demanded.
"F-Fine.. They're.. They're strangers, they were hungry so I let them in."
"If you let them in, then why is your window broken? Who are you?" she shot at Luffy.
"Me? Oh, I'm Monkey D. Luffy, and I'm a pirate!" he says naturally.
Your eyes bulge open and you literally feel like killing him. You punch him in the stomach and he gets hit against the wall.
"DON'T TALK WHEN YOU DON'T NEED TO!" You shout at Luffy.
Luffy rubs his head.
"But she was asking!"
You glare at him one more time, and turn to where Jana was standing.. But she's gone.
