"Good morning sir," I greeted with a soft smile, I have no idea how I managed to land this job, and I somewhat regret working here.
But they pay good money, although the staff isn't the loveliest.

I've been working at this restaurant for quite a while now, and I'm surprised I'm able to tolerate this shitty job for this long.

My manager is a pervert and makes me wear revealing things, since I'm broke as hell I can't quit.

"Hi there, my name's (Firstname), what can I get for you?" I asked, I held a clipboard and waited for the customer to respond, they've been say down for almost half an hour without ordering anything.

"I'd like a salmon, please," a muscular man said, he has a charming smile and his eyes are quite captivating.
I nodded and wrote it down, "Is there anything else?" I asked.

He glanced at the menu and looked back at me, "I'd also like a glass of whiskey along that," he said.
"Salmon with whiskey? You weird," I thought to myself.

I looked at the other person in front of him and slightly tilted my head, "Is there anything you'd like, sir?" I asked, "I'll have steak with water," he said.
I smiled and nodded my head, I then left the table and went to tell the cooks.

An hour or so had past, I was serving the food the two men had ordered.

"Salmon and a glass of whiskey, and steak and water, is there anything else I could get yo-..," just as I was about to finish what I was going to say, my manager walked up behind me.

"(Firstname), I called you to my office twenty minutes ago," he said, my eyes twitched and I bowed to the two men and looked at my manager, "I-I'm sorry sir, I was busy with the customers..." I replied with a shaky voice.

"Hey," the dark muscular man called out, he was looking at my manager with his sharp dark eyes.
"You shouldn't interrupt anyone when they're speaking," he said, my manager looked at him with a frown and pushed me away.

"And who do you think you are?" He asked, looking down on him.
The muscular man stood up and towered over my manager, he looked down on him and slightly frowned.

"It doesn't matter who I am, you shouldn't inter-..," my manager spat on him and clenched his fist, wavering it on the tall man's face.

It was clear that my manager was drunk, otherwise, he wouldn't have treated a customer like that, especially someone who looks like they can kill you in a second.

The raven-haired man frowned and punched my boss square in the face, he grabbed my manager's face and looked at him with disgust.
"Don't fucking interrupt me," he said.

He then threw him across the room and turned to me, "You said that your name is (Firstname), right?" He asked.
I nodded, shaken up by his cold stare,"You're coming with me," he said.

I couldn't do anything but nod, he began to walk away and I followed, the man he was with stayed behind.

Once we got to the parking lot he and I walked towards his car, it seemed new and clean.
He opened the passenger door and I sat inside, he got in and started the engine.

As he drove in silence, I fidgeted with my fingers, "Where was he taking me? Am I in trouble? Is he going to turn me to a prostitue?"

Many questions ran in my head, I was scared.

He then sighed and opened his mouth to speak, breaking the chain of silence.
"Don't be scared, I'm just taking you away from that place," he said.

I looked at him, his eyes were focused on the road, "Thank you..." I said, he glanced at me and raised a brow, "Why are you crying?" He asked.
I held my hand to my cheek and I felt a streak of tear going down.

I've been so caught up with stress and anxiety that it took me this slow to process things, to process that I'm free from my toxic job, to process that the man in front of me, had freed me from it.

From that moment forward, I began to see him as my saviour, I offered to pay him back by being his assistant, he declined it at first but I was persistent.

In the end, he agreed.

Now, months had just passed by and I've been by his side ever since, when I found out what he does, I didn't care, I stuck by him.

The other people who knew him found it odd, but they dared not to question it.
Anyone who threatened him and talked behind his back, I got rid of them.

Anyone who tries to plan anything against him, or go against his way, doesn't survive for long the moment I lay hands on them.

"Huh, so that's why some of my men had been missing."

I turned around and saw Samuel walking towards me with an unlit cigarette.
"S-sir-... It's not what you think," I let go of the unconscious body that I was holding and kicked it away.

"I-... Uhm... I was just disposing garbage!" I spat out, I quickly shut my mouth after realising what I had just said.
He chuckled and walked close to me, "Do you have a lighter?" He asked, I nodded and took one out of my pocket.

I lit his cigarette for him and he blew out smoke away from my face, "You're quite something, aren't you?" He said, looking down at me, he leaned down to face me eye-to-eye.

"I never expected that someone like you-..,"

"B-boss! P-please help us, she's crazy!" One of the men who managed to stay conscious cried out, Samuel frowned and turned to the man.
He then pressed his cigarette against the man's skin, causing him to scream in pain.

"Don't fucking interrupt me," he whispered in the man's ear, Samuel then kicked him and turned back to me.
"You're really interesting, (Firstname), you did all of this, for me," Samuel said, he then grinned and faced me, his hand in his pockets.

"Tell me, what exactly do you feel about me?" He asked.

I looked at him for a moment and smiled, "I feel... I feel complete whenever I'm with you, sir, and I dare not to get in your way."

He chuckled and walked towards me, he placed a hand on my cheek and leaned closer to my face.
"Is that so?" He asked, I nodded, my eyes looked at his.

I felt my heart racing, it felt like my chest was bound to explode, his scent, his breath, his eyes, his everything.
The way he's so close to me, it felt like a dream, oh to be this close to him.

"Yes... Sir," I said, as I continued to look at him with lust in my eyes, he kept grinning and brushed his thumb on my lip.
"Will you stay by my side no matter what happens?" He asked.

I nodded, he let out a soft laugh and leaned closer to me, his lips were brushing against mine, "I appreciate your loyalty, (Firstname)."
