,,Oh, my God.." I barely whispered. ,,What happened?" I asked worried. I traced his cheeks with my thumbs, trying not to touch any of his bruises or scratches.

 ,,Let's just go, ok?"

I looked at him confused, but nodded. He opened the passenger door for me and closed it after.

The drive to his house was silent. I was looking out the window when I felt a hand on my thigh. I put my left hand on top of his and my right one beneath it, holding his palm between mines. I didn't look at him once, the whole ride. I can't look at all that freakin' blood. I hate it.
When we arrived, I got out before he even stopped the car. I don't know how to feel right now. I don't like this Santos shit. I mean, I like that he likes it, but I can't bare to look at his face like this.

I opened the door and went straight to the bathroom. The front door was open, so Cesar was probably home. I opened almost all the cabinets until I found a first aid kit, and then went to the kitchen to grab some alcohol, only to find Oscar talking to his now worried brother.

,,Everything's fine, mano." Oscar said to his brother, but looking at me. I rolled my eyes, grabbed some Vodka and went back in the bathroom, hearing steps behind me. I was wetting a towel with alcohol when two strong arms gripped my waist, setting me on the counter with him between my knees. His hands never left my waist as he spoke. ,,¿Qué pasó?" he asked in a soft voice.

I was still looking down at the Vodka and towel in my hand before closing my eyes and taking a sip from the bottle before looking down again.

He lifted my chin to look him, and smiled before kissing me. I kissed him back. It feels so good to kiss him.

When we pulled apart, I began cleaning his scratches with the towel, making him wince from the alcohol. I pulled the towel away. ,,Sorry." Ew, blood.

,,Don't be." he said. I still haven't looked him in the eyes for more than half a second, my eyes fixating on the towel and his skin. He furrowed his brows looking at me, silently asking what was going on.

I sigh. ,,I was a little mad at you today. I thought you were ignoring me to focus more on your job. Which I totally get, I know the Santos come first, but I thought-"

,,Stop saying that. You both are important to me,  but only you come first, princesa. Please understand that. I should have been gone until Wednesday, but I came back tonight, for you. And I'm sorry for not getting back to you, my phone died. I left you on read, thinking I'll call you, but something came up and then my phone died. It's still not charged." he said stroking my cheek. I just gave him a small smile, before I kept cleaning his injuries. God, I hate blood. ,,I love you, Isa." he said.

I stopped, looking at him. I love this man. With all my heart, I love him. ,,I hate seeing you in pain." I said.

,,I'm in no pain, mi amor. When have I ever been?" he smirked, both of his hands stroking my waist with the thumbs.

,,Can you tell me what happened? Or at least where you were?" I asked him.

He pursed his lips, his eyes giving me a look as if to say 'I'm sorry'.

,,Ok." I said as I hop down, washing mu hands.

 ,,Isa-"

,,Your wounds are clean and most of them patched. You should avoid touching your face for a couple of days. No eating spicy foods to avoid burns, and in the morning you could put your face in iced water. It'll help in more ways than one." I said as I got out of the bathroom, going into the kitchen to cook them something that can actually be called food, not that stupid frozen pizza and beer. All that good-for-cooking food in the fridge and they'll choose frozen pizza...
