Sitting down at the booth,Ally and team Miller got themselves situated. Ally sat in the middle of all of them, Eddie to her right and Jonas to her left. The rest of the team sitting on Eddie's side of the table.

Tony, Team Miller's radar tech and now caster, had brought his computer along with him to keep an eye on the storms and any new forecasts made by the N.S.S.L and Oklahoma Nine News.

There was a casual chatter between everyone as they all began to look for what they wanted to order, this was normal occurrence after a chase They would find a Diner to hang out in and wait for a new storm to drop, but most of the time Ally would go off and do her own thing and not follow them to the Diner.

"Well look who we have here."  a southern accent broke through the air. Everyone at the table stopped what they were doing and looked up at the source of the voice. There stood a dark brown haired man, his face was soft but sharp, he held himself  high and proud. Next to him was a blonde woman, her hair had streaks of gray in it, Her face was kind and gentle with the slightest hint of wrinkles. She had the sweetest smile plastered on her face.

"Dad? Mom? What are you two doing here?" Jonas asked while getting up out of the booth to greet his parents. Ally and Eddie also followed out of the booth to greet the two.

"We are chasing today, but we figured we'd get something to eat first." the brunet responded with a smile.

"How's my Jone Jone?" The blonde woman asked while giving her son a hug, Jonas cringed slightly at the nickname but  gave a slight smile while hugging her back.

"I'm good ma, I'm surprised that you aren't at the news station today." Jonas responded and she shrugged slightly.

"I decided to chase with your father today." She replied simply while smiling up at her husband.

"Well if it ain't Alexander Miller." Ally greeted. "And Elly, it's good to see you." She said while turning to the Blonde woman.

"Chasing with Team Miller I see, Dr. Romero." Alexander said. The ginger laughed lightly.

"Well who else is supposed to keep Jone Jone here out of trouble?" Ally teased and Jonas gave her a bitch stare in return. Alex laughed at this slightly.

The four of them all continued talking for a moment, It was rare to see Elly out chasing with Alexander. Mostly because of the fact Alex usually refused to let people chase with him, especially the people he loved. But today seemed to be one of the days that he was at ease with it.

That's the thing about chasing, it is a dangerous gamble being the one responsible for another's life while going against nature and its violence.

Jonas invited Alex and Elly to come sit with them and they obliged. Now all of them sat down ordered, light laughter and conversations filling the air. Each of them comfortable in each other's company.

It's moments like this that always reminded Ally that chasing isn't always filled with drama, but it has its moments of equality, moments where no one is trying to be better than the other, moments of calm.

She felt comfortable as they all talked about their predictions about the next storm and talked about what happened earlier that afternoon. She found it funny how much Jonas kept praising her every chance he could and how he would occasionally try and flirt with the ginger, which would earn him a laugh from her and bitch stare from Eddie.

Ally in fact quite liked Team Miller's company, though she wouldn't admit that out loud. The team made her feel like she belonged in the world of Storm Chasers, but the fact that she over the past couple of months of hanging out with them was feeling comfortable scared her.

Their conversations continued as they ate, Eddie and Elly got into conversation about the news station and How much of an Asshole Alan Newman is. Jonas, Ally, and Alexander began talking about their plan of attack for the next chase. Everything was calm.

"Dr.Miller?" Tony's voice cut through the conversations at the table.

"Yes Tony?" Jonas responded while looking over to the younger chaser.

"There is a tornado warning about 3 miles out, and there looks to be a strong hook echo on the cell." Tony explained while looking at his computer then back up to the Blonde man. Alexander, Ally, and Jonas all looked at each other and nodded. Just like that everyone rushed out of the booth, Eddie and Jonas leaving money on the table before rushing towards the Diner door.

"We will lead," Jonas started as he and Eddie ran towards the Suburban. "Ally follow behind me, Dad follow behind Ally!" Jonas continued Both Ally and Alexander nodded in understanding before getting into their respective vehicles.

Each car roared to life and within a minute they were out of the parking lot, Alexander's truck stuck out like a sore thumb compared to the rest of the convoy of black cars. His truck was a 1970 Chevy C-10, its blue exterior scratched and chipped slightly from all the storms it has seen.

The Convoy  raced down the road, Rain hitting the windshield faster the closer to the supercell they got, the wind rushing around the cars and the fields. It was thrilling as always. The sky had a green tinge to it which only meant danger was coming, but that didn't deter anyone. They had one goal in mind and that was to chase.
