  My bro Kevin throwing this sweet party tonight. I know it's about to be fun, but some how I'm not in a party mood. I been trying to get myself in the mood but I can't. The truth is Nicole been on my mind nonstop and I feel so disappointed in myself for not telling her the truth. I'm still nervous.

I began to take off the clothes that I had put on for the party. I have to admit, I looked pretty good. I would of won all the girls over at the party.

After I slipped on my pajamas, I went to my bed and layed down.

Ring Ring Ring!! buzzed my phone.

I sighed when I looked at the number on my phone.

It was Kevin.

"Hey bro."

" What's up, where you at? The party is turning up right now." He said. I could hear the loud music in the background.

" Yeah it sounds like it. But I'm not coming. I'm not in the mood."

" Dude what you mean you are not in the mood? Parties is your thing," his voice sounded confused.

"Yeah I know but I'm just not feeling it right now."

" But you do not understand what your missing out on. There are tons of fine looking-"

" Girls, yes I am aware of that. But man I just don't feel like being bothered with them. "

" Oh, you must have a special girl do you?"

What? how does he know? I wondered.

" Yeah...maybe." I said awkwardly.

"Dude I got a special girl too and she's here at the party. Her name is Kiara. "

"Nicole's best friend?" I asked, surprised.

" Yeah. It's kind of weird for me to try going out with my ex's  best friend. But I really like her."

" Well, good for you bro, good luck. And is Nicole there?"

" No. I haven't seen her. "

I yawned. " Oh, well have fun dude. I'm about to go to sleep."

" Alright dude, and make sure you get your party mode back, okay?"

I let out a small laughed. " Alright dude, it'll come back. See ya." I said, then I ended the call.
