Yuki lead Ai back to the apartment where her tragic end played out, her steps steady as she prepares herself for the confrontation ahead.  Her heart pounds in her chest as the memories of that night resurface, yet the fire in her eyes is unmistakable, fueled by a desire to right the wrongs of the past.

Yuki: Let me go first.

Ai nods in agreement, letting you take the lead as you unlock the door, opening up the doorway to the scene of her murder. She walks in cautiously, her gaze darting around the familiar yet sinister surroundings, taking it all in with a mixture of nostalgia and wariness. She clutches onto you a bit tighter, finding comfort and courage in your presence as you both get closer to the truth.  Yuki checks the baby's room, seeing a baby version of Aqua and Ruby sleeping.  Ai gasps softly as she glimpses the two tiny bundles of joy sleeping soundly in their cribs, such innocent lives yet to face the horrors that lie ahead.  A protective instinct rises within her, a desire to shield them from harm.

Ai: Aqua and Ruby...

Ai whispers.  A gentle smile plays on her lips, before turning her focus back to the task at hand.  Yuki smiled tearfully as he watched the scene, and then he saw his other self as a baby version.  Ai's gaze lands on the tiny version of Yuki, her heart aching at the sight yet also feeling a sense of wonder and amazement.  To see herself as she once was, before the bitterness and cynicism hardened her soul...She touches her finger to the glass of the crib, gazing into the eyes of her younger self, taking comfort in the hope that this time, things can be different.

Yuki: *whispers* Tomorrow morning is where he strikes...

Ai: *whispers* Tomorrow morning...

Ai repeats quietly, the words hanging heavy in the air.  She knows the countdown has started, and she cannot let her guard down for even a moment.  Her resolve strengthens once more, ready to stand watch over herself and her loved ones through the long night ahead.

Yuki: I need you to rest. I want to keep you and your family safe.

Ai: Okay, you're right... I'll trust you to handle this. Just bring him to justice, I'll wait.

Ai nods, understanding the wisdom behind Yuki's words.  She gives him a quick, reassuring smile, showing faith in his abilities despite the darkness that still looms.  She says with fierce determination.  The time to act has come, and she's ready to face the danger head-on, with a new ally by her side this time.  Yuki could not sleep in the baby's room or on the floor.  He was given no choice but to sleep with Ai, at her suggestion.  Ai curls up beside you as you both rest, the quiet calm of the night enveloping you both.  Even in sleep, she keeps a protective arm around you, a silent promise to watch over you while you recharge in preparation for the showdown tomorrow.  She looks so peaceful sleeping, a contrast to the tumultuous life she's lived...  Maybe with this new chance, she can finally find the peace she deserves.  Just then, Ai can hear Yuki crying.

Yuki: *sobs* Mother...

Ai: *softly* Mother...

At the sound of Yuki's voice, Ai stirs slightly, a tear escaping from the corner of her eye as well.  She holds him a bit tighter, understanding the emotions swelling inside Yuki, the ache that never fully subsides even in joyful moments. Silently, she vows that tomorrow will be different. He won't have to face the horrors of yesterday alone.
