a Tale of Parasite [a vs impostor story]

Chapter 6: the chase

Xaphan pinned Crystal to the wall, finally losing her temper. she was tired of this game. 

''BASTARD. IT'S TIME TO MEET YOUR END.'' he growled her sharp teeth, as his visor gained a red eye flash. Crystal scrambled to find a means of escape until....

he did.

he felt something. it was a flashbang. he then put his palm around it, and prepared to throw it at Xaphan's visor.

''ANY LAST WORDS? YOU MAY HAVE INJURED MY SON, BUT I WON'T LET YOU GO ANY FURTHER IN HURTING HIM OR ME OR ANYONE ON MY TEAM'' Xaphan continued growling.

''yes. taste flashbang, beast!'' Crystal spoke, then he threw the flashbang into Xaphan. despite the latter's intimacy and power, she was blinded, if only for a few seconds, but it was enough for Crystal to run. in seconds, Crystal had darted away. but as he did, he head Xaphan scream ''GET HIM!'' as he ran. he scrambled across the planet while hiding from the impostors. 

he hid inside a cave as Red and Green looked for him, still in their parasite forms. as they did, however, a young teenage red impostor with a captain hat and suit and black tie came up to them.

''hey dads. can i have the beans?'' 

''sure. and John? the spoon is in the crate'' Green spoke.

''thank you'' John said. 

Crystal then felt his serious demeaner dropped down a little. he felt humanized, seeing them and their adopted son interact. like an actual family, and not just business comrades.

as he hid and peeked through to see them walk off. he then jetted out, hiding near a rock. he then saw Ash walking across, in his parasite form, a giant magma impostor with big jaws, black horns, orange magma veins across the body, a stone square visor, and 3 black spider legs on each side. 

''oh crewmate, where are you? Xaphan will be pleased to see you again'' Ash smirked as he spoke in a low voice. 

Crystal checked his inventory. good. he still had a few flashbangs. in case he was surrounded, he could always throw one of them. he squinted his green visor, crawling across the floor, and then he ran off while Ash was walking across the floor.

he jogged across, and hid behind a tree upon seeing Greeny in her parasite form, which looked like Green's but with the black cat hat, a bat wings and a raid tail thing for the other wing. 

''where could he be? he has to be here somewhere.'' Greeny thought to herself. 

Crystal crawled below, laying low as he made it past. 

however, he then stepped on a twig. and a very loud one at that. Greeny turned her head. she then saw Crystal. 

''there he is!'' Greeny spoke. then, Ash overheard, and ran over.

''good eye, girl!'' Ash complimented, as the two began slamming the arms down onto Crystal, who rolled on the floor away. he kept running further, with them tailing closer and closer. 

he creeped his hand across his inventory, and grabbed one of his flashbangs. he threw it ahead, which blinded Greeny and Ash at the same time.

Crystal kept running until he bumped into Tan.

''give it up, crewmate. you have no chance to defeat us, let alone Black'' Tan spoke as the mouth on her visor glared.

despite the death threat, Crystal blushed. he started to realize he was having feelings with one of the very thing he swore to destroy. still, he had to get away.

however, in seeing Crystal lay down his weapons, Tan then sighed, to Crystal's confusion.

''alright. fine, go. i'll just tell them you stunned me in place with your flashbang'' Tan then stepped aside. Crystal then looked at Tan with a strange expression on his visor, then nodded. he ran toward ahead.

''one last thing. i remain hesitant to kill you. i don't know what, but i'll find why'' Tan spoke. Crystal nodded as he kept running.

as Xaphan shortly after approached, Tan spoke ''nothin'. he threw one of those flashbangs''

Xaphan then mumbled. ''can't belive this fool pissed me off. and to think i way having fun with fighting him. ive never felt this entertained, and to think that i lost them.....''

''you okay, boss man?'' Ash approached as he turned to his normal form.

''NO. just mid. forget them for now. they're not worth my time at the moment. and don't call me boss man. i am not your boss. i don't even want to be called your leader.'' Xaphan calmly spoke. ''and if you think you have failed me, no. it was that pesky assassin crewmate''
