? charged their knife into Xaphan, who quickly blocked it, and struck her tongue at them. Crystal grabbed a sniper rifle to shoot at ?, but ? quickly pulled out all the stops to block the attack.
Xaphan, in his parasite form, tried to stomp onto ?, but ? pulled out their scorpion tail. Crystal drove a loose knife into ?. ? then reacted by using their scorpion tail to slam Crystal to the wall.
after what seemed like hours of fighting, Crystal slammed ? to a wall, and aimed a sniper rifle in ?'s place.
and when the battle was all over...
Xaphan pierced right onto ? with her dagger.
''finally.... that bastard is gone.... for now at least'' Xaphan huffed and puffed as he transformed back into their normal form.
''so what am i gonna do now?'' Crystal asked.
''well, you can for starters take me to dinner'' Tan spoke, as she hugged him.
''heh, i guess your right'' Crystal said, as she kissed his forehead.
and that....
was the end.
Crystal gave up being a mercenary and lived differently. later on he and Tan got married and had 3 kids.
the true fate of ? wasn't certain....
[and that, everyone, is the end... i know it felt short and anticlimactic, but you need to understand i lost all motivation on this story. so thanks for staying to the end, i've started to have a habit of rushing all my projects nowadays]
