Chapter 8: the blimp

Crystal walked onto the new blimp, with great interest being shown in his visor. it was old and rusty, yet still functional. he sat onto his new bed, then he noticed there was a power inhibitor. perfect. he had a task list already laid out. he flipped it back on after porting over the power. he then yawned and went to sleep for the night, but not before packing away his entire weaponry, arsenal and everything else he had equipped in his quest to kill all impostors.

however, as he slept, Xaphan, Kye and Tan had managed to get onto the ship due to the vent on the front leading to going below the heavily sealed front door, and the trio made it inside. the blimp was Soley used as a way to reach the new orbital station that was complete. they new Crystal was being sent there, and they prepared to take his life. but first..... they knew there would already be an entire crew of 20 other people there.

''alright, amigo. what's the plan?'' Kye asked.

''alright, we both will try to take down Crystal. anyone in our path will be destroyed. Tan will be there in case they try to vote us out.'' Xaphan expressed.

''why don't i kill Crystal? it'll save you the trouble'' Tan asked.

''very well. be sure to bring his corpse to me so i can eat it'' Xaphan nodded.

then, Xaphan's phone rang. it was Argent. luckily, the phone ringing wasn't waking anyone up, for it was too silent because it was in Xaphan's.... space..... suit..... thing.

''yes, little one?'' Xaphan asked.

''father have you made it on?'' Argent asked.

''yes. i have. you will need to go to Emihead. they might help with your injuries. i'm sorry, but i can't help right now, little one'' Xaphan spoke calmly and quietly and like a real father would when they say that sort of thing.

''okay. mother might be of help. besides, they'll probabley be home. i'll ring them. just wanted to check up on you, father'' Argent responded.

''very well. i will be back soon'' Xaphan said, ending the call.

Xaphan cracked her knuckles. ''sleep well, Crystal, we will be your end''

Tan vented into Crystal's room, where he slept. he woke up upon hearing that familiar sound, then, he grabbed his rifle. 

''who's there?!'' Crystal spoke, trying to sound high and mighty.

''it's me. Tan.'' Tan, unimpressed, walked up, brandishing her mouth.

but as she came closer, she felt herself go pink in the face. was this what she wanted? to slaughter someone she really liked?

''listen Tan, i know you and your big black boss want to kill me. if you want to go through with it, fine. but i won't let it happen without at least taking him with me!'' Crystal spoke, but he cowered a bit. beneath his tough exterior, he knew his chances to slay impostors were slim when there were many in a group, let alone had Xaphan.

''....... i can't decide......'' Tan admitted. 

''.... what?'' Crystal was confused. he lowered his gun, alongside his guard.

''i can't choose.......'' Tan strained herself, and with great hesitation, she kissed Crystal's forehead.

Tan quickly, and with panic, ran. Crystal blushed.

''what was that kiss for?'' he thought. ''should i trust her?''
