Kakuremino Sude laughed, as if she felt astounded from the bottom of her heart. This was a good direction for the conversation to take.
But at that moment, the younger sister, Sumi, seemed to hide her presence for some reason. Perhaps she'd really ruined her mood by that much by interrupting that conversation between the two sisters, but on the other hand.
Sude:Isn't it like that, then? In shogi, would you rather have it so that you win if you can capture the promoted rook instead of the king?
Saki:Ah...But a queen...Is just a female monarch, right?
Sude:Why are you trying to make sure of something like that? It's obvious that a queen is a female monarch.
Saki:And the king is a male monarch. Right?
Sude:Of course. That's something even a grade schooler would know.
Saki:Then it really is weird.
As they spoke moved her iwn queen to take Sude's queen, leaving her own king defensless in the process. But the actual game of chess had no impotance anymore, she was just distracting Sude while having a card of Error Message Plate in her other hand.
Saki:Why? Why is it that, in the same era, in the same location, there are two monarchs, the king and the queen?
Sude:Eh?
Unlike Kumagawa, Kakuremino Sude did have a strong lust for power, so she should be able to completely control her in not just her body but her mind, as well. With over 15 minutes left until the time limit, if she forced her to surrender on her turn, then it would be quest clear for her.
As Sude was distracted, Saki threw her card at Sude's forhead. However, as it was about to make contact Sumi had thrown her king piece in between, blocking the card.
Sude:What the hell are you doing, Sukinasaki! Wha...What's this...A skill? Sukinasaki, you were a Skill Holder!? No way...There's no way, you're just a...
Just a normal high schooler, the kind of minor role that just got caught up in things, was what she was probably about to say. Even though she was a loud mouth, Sude was not an idiot, as her face began to morph into realization upon thinking deeply of how Saki had been behaving in the time Jakago Aki ruled Suisou.
That means that this Anshin'in-san person hasn't told Sude about her skill. Not to her, at least.
Sumi seems to have had prior knowglede to it and this Anshin'in-san must have given tht information to her. After all, the only person that knows about Saki's skill should be herself, Kumagawa and this omniscient girl which Kumagawa has some sort of history with.
Saki:But really, is she an idiot?
She didn't fucking care if she was omniscient or omnipotent or an equalist or what. But she wasn't gonna be manipulated a second time.
Sude:Eh...Eeh? Huh...Sumi-chan?
Sude, after collecting herself, looked at her sister to see her being frozen in place. That's just because while Saki aimed for Sude's forhead with her right hand, she had thrown another card which pierced Sumi's thigh with her left hand.
Saki:Sorry about that. Well, I'm not really sorry at all. My Error Message Plate doesn't actually need to be put into people's heads, y'see. Well, this is supposed to be top secret, though. There are only two people that know about my Skill, but there isn't even one that knows about this secret trick of mine.
Sude:Not, not even one...Wa...Wait, I surrender, I surrender! I lost, I lost, I lost! So please don't kill Sumi-chan! I don't care what happens to me...
