Tony felt as if he couldn't breathe.

He knew Liza had went to the kitchen, so he made way to his office. He needed a minute to think- to let it sink in that he was going to be a father. He locked his office door behind him, hurriedly grabbing his cigar which sat on the desk. He inhaled and exhaled, but it didn't seem to relieve anything.

He felt the urge to do a line; temptation almost getting to him- until he realized that the baby was all the more reason to not do lines anymore.

Collapsing on his chair, he ran a hand down his face sighing deeply. He didn't think it through when he promised liza a child. Things are heating up, things she had no clue about- and yet here he was; welcoming a child. Above all,he felt happy. He was getting another chance at life, so what if he had a kid? He wasn't wasting opportunities this time around.
And besides, he already had names for the baby- boy and girl.

Feeling hopeful Tony sat up, readying himself to go to Liza. Suddenly, his phone rang- and he was on too much of a high to find it suspicious. "Hello?" he answered. "Hey Mr. Montana. My name is Edgar Rooney, and you don't know me yet but I'd like to set up a meeting with you." Despite his cartoon like name, Edgar's voice was deep and edgy. It immediately put Tony on alert as he opened his office door, motioning for the guards to secure Liza as he kept the phone to his ear.

"How'd you get this number?" Tony asked. "Ah, fuck that. What I gotta meet you for?"He reeled back. Edgar scoffed, "I'd like to discuss Marco Soberano with you." Edgar spoke slowly- as if throwing water over Tony. "What?" he asked, dumbfounded. That was the last name he expected to hear. Edgar sighed, "I know you killed him. Right?" Tony's grip tightened on the phone, and he reminded himself to not give anything away. Who knew who this Rooney guy was? He could be a cop, a fellow drug dealer..

"I don't know what the fuck you're on about." Tony sighed, watching as Liza was escorted to his office. Edgar chuckled, "Listen Tony, you're a smart guy. I just have some information on him and his son- thought you'd like to know especially since your wife is a Soberano."

"Don't talk about my wife." Tony warned lowly, trying to not let Liza hear the conversation as she smiled and moved past him to settle into the office- her novel in hand. "You listen to me, you think you're tough eh? Calling my house and talking big. How bout this Mr. Rooney.." He walked back to the receiver, ready to end the conversation- "You go fuck yourself. And the next time you call my phone talking about my wife- I'll kill you." Liza's eyes widened hearing his words- watching anxiously as he slammed the phone down and turned away from her to bark orders at his men.

"Antonio?" Liza breathed. Tony turned back, remembering the good news as he laid his eyes on her. "Don't worry about it baby." he smiled, walking around his desk to hold her in his arms- placing a sweet kiss on her lips as he cradled her face between his palms. "Listen, I know okay?" He wasn't going to hide the fact that he was aware of her pregnancy; he was never one for subtlety.

"What?" Liza's eyes would have popped out of her head. Tony could only smile, ignoring the phone call previously received.  His hands went to her hips, caressing her sides before placing his palm over her flat stomach. He simply pulled her towards him- one hand on her stomach and the other cradling her head. "I know, you're gonna have my baby." he whispered into her ear.

Liza sighed, relieved that he was taking it well. "How did you find out?" she asked, placing her book down before wrapping her arms around him. Tony held her, feeling more grateful that her heart remained the same after all these years- so much so that she could forgive the past and give him another chance-At both love, and life.

"Don't worry about it." he kissed her head before pulling away. "We gotta get married!" he exclaimed, moving away and going back to his office doors. "Marina!" he called his favorite maid. "Gonna need you ASAP!" He tried to not show how much this Rooney character intrigued him. But firstly, he needed an excuse to give him what he wanted..and celebration was the perfect excuse.

"Listen baby, why don't you plan a little party huh? Let's celebrate our engagement."  He kissed liza's hands as she laughed, knowing Tony wasn't asking to get married- he was demanding it. "Whatever you want, marina will get it." He rushed out, kissing her gently containing his excitement and anxiety- but also letting her know that they were in this for good.

"Te amo, mi amor." he whispered, placing his hand on her stomach once more. Liza smiled, sharing the same ecstasy Tony felt. She felt content - safe. "Te amo, Antonio."

"He took the bait." Edgar smiled. He hadn't expected a response given that it had been a month since he contacted the infamous Tony Montana. "Of course he did." Elvira rolled her eyes, grabbing the paper out of his hands to read it's contents.

Engagement Party.

Elvira scoffed, "It was only a matter of time- He loves to talk about himself. Not to mention the murder you called out." Crossing his office, she threw the paper as she neared the window readying to light a cigarette. Edgar was a up and coming journalist- Elvira knew she could manipulate him and his stories to expose Tony Montana to the entirety of Miami.

"So, am I to go alone?" Edgar subtly tried to ask if she would be present with him. "Of course not. The ex-wife and the new fiancee in the same room? That sounds very scandalous.." She smirked, inadvertently giving Edgar his answer.

Tony Montana wasn't going to stand a chance.
