Through the storm - Chapter 1

A/N - Hi everyone, welcome to the story!! Sorry for interrupting, I know yall wanna read, but I'm just here to ask yall to leave some suggestions for chapters or ideas in the comments!! This story takes place before the extermination, about right when Sir pentious got rehabilitated into the hotel. I'll always put tws before the chapter if theres anything triggering in it, I will not write smut. UNLESS suggested a lot (or suggested by my pooks) cause i suck at writing smut😭 I might write any headcannons you leave in the comments into the story, and I will happily write fluff! And I might add a little angst if I feel like it, so leave some suggestions for chapters and ideas below!! I'll get to the story now

You panicked and quickly ran beneath a tree. It was raining hard, and it was foggy. You were on your way home until it started storming. Lightning and thunder clashed as you sat beneath a tree, shaking the rain out of your hair and off your clothes. "Shit, how am I gonna get home.. I can't go anywhere in this weather and nobody's outside.." You muttered, wrapping your jacket around yourself to keep warm. You pulled your phone out of your pocket and checked to see if you could call anyone, no service. The storm must have knocked out the internet.

You cursed under your breath as you looked around, checking to see if anyone was still outside. You doubted you'd see anyone, but there beyond the fog stood a figure with wings holding an umbrella. An angel? But it isn't extermination day, and if they were going to exterminate us today, there'd be more... There was only one other thing it could be... Lucifer, king of hell.

He slowly approached you. You could see his short figure moving closer through the fog. He finally got close and stood in front of you. You backed up against the tree you sat under but didn't get far. He crouched down in front of you and covered you with one of his wings, sheltering you from the rain. "Hey, are you okay? Why are you still out here in the rain?" Lucifer asked in a concerned tone, he reached his hand out towards you in an attempt to help you up, you were still scared and didn't know what to do in that moment so you just shook your head and let out a whimper and flinched away from him. That just made him look even more concerned as he spoke in a soft tone, "Hey, I won't hurt you, it's okay, you don't have to be scared."
