dance is not just all physical. its mental. if you're not mental stable, if your life isn't stable, than you can just throw dance out the window. ballet isn't meant for the weak minded. dance is a mental sport. yes, you have to have strong legs, but you also have to be strong minded, disciplined, and graceful at the same time.
the next morning aria was up by 7:30. school started at 8:00 and sky, aria's friend, picked her up at 7:50.ari walks downstairs to be met with her father laying on the couch with a hangover and her mother rushing to get to work on time, news flash she never does.
aria walks into the kitchen and grabs an apple to have for breakfast. she sits down at the countertop and slowly eat her apple. "hey. you two need a ride to school?" hiro ask as their mother slams the front door shut. "i'll walk" theo replies as he walks towards the door and leaves, closing the door softly. hiro looks to aria and ask he the question again. "no sky is outside" aria spoke softly as she looks up from the message that sky just sent her saying that she's outside.
aria walks outside to sky's car. they both greet each other with a hello and sky started driving. "so aria, i heard that they were going for ballet dancers to act in a new Percy Jackson show. they need someone to be an aphrodite child. i think you should do it." sky tells the younger girl while looking at the road.
"uh im good thank you though" aria said barely over a whisper as she goes in instagram. sky rolls her eyes clearly annoyed with the girls lack of effort in trying something new. sky was a young actor, she acted in a show called 'Ravens Home'. she thought that aria would love it, but aria was always too afraid to try something new. this pissed sky off a lot.
the two girls made it to school after a short ten minutes. they both get out of the car and walked to their lockers, which was conveniently near each other. theos locker was in between their but theo usually just text aria and ask her to pick up his stuff for him. the girls in conversation, sky doing most of the talking like usual.
suddenly aria gets pushed into the locker. she turns around to be met by her worst nightmare, the dirty three. the dirty three are these three girls that have a tendency to to pick on aria. the dirty three consists of the three most popular, richest, and most powerful girls in the whole school, lilliana, jasmine and daisy.
what pissed aria off the most wasn't that they bullied her, that happens. it was that they had the sweetest names even thought they are equivalent to the devil. they were bitches.
