dance is not just all physical. its mental. if you're not mental stable, if your life isn't stable, than you can just throw dance out the window. ballet isn't meant for the weak minded. dance is a mental sport. yes, you have to have strong legs, but you also have to be strong minded, disciplined, and graceful at the same time.
it's been almost a month since aria met the cast. aria and aryan text everyday and really got to know and like each other's personality. aria also talked to leah a lot. they got along well and she feelings like if sky is busy than she can go to leah for advice.
aira hasn't talked to walker a lot, just a few texts here and there. today was the day that the final cast came out and aira was more scared than excited. the zoom meeting started at three.aria started getting ready at two thirty-five.
aria got good luck text from aryan, leah, sky and hiro. aria joined the zoom at two fifty-seven. aria catches up with walker, aryan, and leah. they joked and laughed around until three. "hello ladies. this has been a long and tedious process. you all have come so far and we are all proud of you. so let's get started."
everyone clapped. then you here theo bust into aria room, sadly aria forgot to put her microphone on mute. "did i miss it" a out of breath theo ask.
aria shook her head with with a mixed of concern and confusion. theo sat down next to his sister, but making sure he is out of view. aria questioned why everything got quiet until she heard walker laughing and saying 'i like her brother'. aria made a mental note to actually smack her brother so hard.
"alrighty" the director laughed. "so as we already know walker scobell will be playing percy jackson. leah sava jeffries will be playing annabeth chase. aryan simhadri will be playing grover underwood. virginia kill will be play sally jackson. glynn thurman will be playing chiron. timm sharp will be playing gab ugliano. jason mantzoukas will be playing dionysus.
jessica parker kennedy will be playing medusa. adam joseph copeland or edge will be playing ares. and finally for the girl that will be playing rosalie is... aria brown congratulations!!!" the director list off.
aria eyebrow raised she out tackled off of her chair by her brother's bear hug. you could hear aria's brother yelling through the computer. everyone laughing at the girl and her brothers cute reaction.
suddenly hiro bust in the door. "the hell is up with you guys busting through my door?" aira yelled as she gets off the floor pulling her brother up with her. "did you get the role?" hiro ask avoiding the girls last question. everyone on the computer got quiet, enjoying the sweet brother sister moment between the three.
"yeah she did. which is really surprising considering that she doesn't like to talk to people and she hella rude." theo exclaimed making aria give him a huge side eye. "what's up with you and these back handed compliments?" aria ask her other brother, quite annoyed with him.
hiro gave his sister a soft hug and kissed her forehead. theo joined the hug and they all sat in aria's room hugging. everyone enjoyed the cute moment between the siblings.
this was the day at aria made a promise to herself. that promise was to always listen to sky. but also to have confidence in herself and try something new every once in a while.
