This is some background information/why I am writing this.
I am in an English class like most eighth graders are. We have been studying Anne life, her diary, as well as a play based off of the diary one assignment that we have had to do in this unit was write a couple of paragraphs as if we were kitty. my English teacher wanted us to imagine that somehow someway and was able to get letters to her very best friend and instead of writing in a diary, she is writing to her from the Annex. I have already turned in this assignment, but as I was writing it, I kept wanting to write more so this is a continuation of that. I have not read her book in full. However, I have read the play and many excerpts from the diary. I have created my own characters for kitty and kitty life and how she connected with Anne and I hope you enjoy the next chapter will be information about kitty and my interpretation of her and her family.
I love the story of Anne Frank, and she is truly inspired me into writing my own stories this being one of them. She was truly a genius before her time and it is devastating what we did to the world when she was around. I don't know if anyone's done this kind of story before but I hope I will do Anne and her family justice
I will be using the play because I think it focuses on how life worked better But I also will be using bits from her diary. I will also be interchanging between letters and kitties actual life throughout the story enjoy!!!
