A short story inspired by Anne Frank I had to write for class

Inez, a 13 year old girl, lives in an orphanage with her best friend Charlie. It is 1942, in the midst of World War Two, and Inez travels all over Amsterdam. The city she grew up in was not the same one that existed during the war. . . . If you know a bit about Anne Frank, you might realize that put little references in from time to time. World War Two was a real event that killed millions of people. The victims of this event should be treated with respect. Please recognize that I wrote this story for entertainment, but is based in fact. I wrote it to educate people. So please, please, please be respectful. . . . TRIGGER WARNING There are mentions of death, war, violence, fear, and mild gore. Please don't read if this will trigger you! Take care of yourself!

Nannete Blitz & Anne Frank were classmates and best friends. United because of the one thing that made them outcasts; Being Jewish. The book starts on 1 June 1942, (Nannete: thirteen. Anne: thirteen in eleven days.) On June 12 Anne recieved a diary and around a month later on July 6 The Frank's, Blitz's, & the Van Pel's released news that the families will have no choice to but hide in the "Secret Annex" the attic apartment of Otto Franks (Anne's Dad) business by using a book case as the secret entrance. It had to remain like that until further notice. The girls get used to the place day by day and develop relationships, socialise, and try to find their own way to enjoy themselves. But there is one thing that always remained in their heads. "What will become of them?"

Recently I have read the book "Annexed" by Sharon Dogar. It is an amazing book, that I totally recommend to anyone looking for a good read and/or read the diary of Anne Frank and loved it . It is the story of The Van Pels and The Franks going into hiding in the secret Annex during WW2. The only catch is instead of being told in Anne Frank's point of view, it is told from Peter Van Pel's. The reason I am telling you this is as I did for/about Anne Frank, I am going to write a poem for/about Peter Van Pels. In this book there is this ongoing theme of the phrases, "Is anyone there? Is anyone listening, " that I will be using in the poem/paragraph. So here it is, I hope you enjoy.

Hey guys and welcome to another story by Ally and Auroa! The story is a real story that Ally, Auroa, and another great person wrote in English class last semester. This story we had to write after reading the book "The Diary of Anne Frank" but write it in a different character's point of view (pov) so we had picked to write this from the cat in the book, also known as Mouschi, Peter's cat. We had four people in the group but only Ally, Auroa, and a great person in our class worked on it because the fourth person was out most of the week we did this so the 4th person didn't work with us on this.
