Blow Something Up - Part 2

Upbeat and impish conversation flowed easily through the U.A. Common Room as Mina, Kaminari, and Kirishima chatted happily among themselves. Shoto was passively listening to the banter while he scrolled aimlessly through his phone. Ever so often he'd make a noise of approval in response to something that was said, but mostly he was quiet. His mind preoccupied with the morning's earlier events. -Bakugo being angry at losing? Predictable, expected even. Bakugo getting hard while losing? Not so much- He smirked at that thought.

'Was it simply a coincidence? An accident? A fluke? A normal reaction due to the friction caused by their brief struggle? Or was it the struggle that-'

-Shoto laughed silently to himself. He felt like Midoriya, and was thankful he wasn't mumbling out loud. Although, as he slowly tuned back into his friends' discussion, it became apparent that he wasn't the only one curious about the incident...

"...all m'sayin' is, if I were the one who beat up Bakugo like that, I would be hopping around like an idiot-Not just chillin' on a couch!" Denki exclaimed, laying upside down on the couch next to Eijiro and grinning widely, gesturing enthusiastically in Todoroki's general direction.

"Oh c'mon," Mina protested playfully, "Todo didn't beat him up. He just-"

"Nah, totally kicked his ass" Kirishima interrupted, snickering from his seated place next to the electric hero. Todoroki couldn't suppress the smile that tugged at his lips.

"See?! Tods agrees, he knows what's up!" Denki laughed, pointing an accusatory finger at him before fist bumping Kirishima. Todoroki nodded slightly, "It was a good fight".

"A good fight? Bro, it was awesome! The way you dropped down and spun around like that? That was on some next level ninja type shit, I swear! So damn manly!" Kirishima replied, making Denki cackle by wiping away an imaginary tear.

"Yeah dude! You gotta teach me how to do that! Promise me you will-Promise!" The blond hero chimed in, suddenly spreading his elevated legs in an impromptu split, kicking Kirishima in the head in the process and letting out a yelp. Eijiro had activated his Hardening Quirk just in time. Mina giggled-the sound soft and familiar to Shoto's ears-watching Denki cradle his slowly bruising appendage.

"You'd already know how to do that if you paid attention to Mr. Aizawa's lessons, Danks" she said, laughing harder at the petulant pout the was sent her way.

"Hey! I-"

Denki's retort was cut off by the sound of the elevator doors opening. All attention suddenly going to Bakugo's flushed, partially nude form.

The blond was shirtless and barefoot, hands pushed deep into the pockets of a pair of baggy, black sweatpants that hung teasingly low on his-'well defined'-hips. Fiery red eyes burned more intensely than usual, staring straight ahead, seemingly dead set on not looking at the group, his jaw visibly clenched. Bakugo was pissed, that much was clear to Shoto, but he also noticed how the boy's chest heaved with a rhythm too unsteady to simply be anger alone. His footsteps, although heavy and determined, were also too out of sync to be his normal heated stride. His impressive-'very impressive...'-muscles taut with something that wasn't solely defensive confidence.

It intrigued Todoroki. Bakugo intrigued Todoroki, so he kept staring.

Shoto leaned forward, letting his gaze unashamedly linger. Bakugo must have felt it, because suddenly his gruff voice reverberated throughout the room, "The fuck you lookin' at, Frosty?", Bakugo growled. The aggressive opener only served to further pique Todoroki's interest; The words and tone were harsh, yes, but those crimson eyes weren't burrowing into his soul like they've done so many times before. In fact, Katsuki actually seemed to be struggling to even look in his direction.
