I clutched my fingers tight to his shirt. Not moving a bit because i know this would cost me a life.

We are standing on the tip of a cliff. More like he is pushing me and i am fighting him back by not leaving the little corner of his shirt. His expressions are calm.

How the fuck they are supposed to be calm?

Sweat formed on my forehead and making my fingers struggle hard to slip off. I breathe harshly as the cold breeze travels my body giving me shivers.

What if i leave his shirt? Will he save me?

Or will he let me die?

Who am I fooling... he will probably let me die. He hates me. Hates me to such an extent that he can easily murder me.

I gulped the saliva down my throat, watching carefully at my foot. My life depends on them. The floor beneath my foot seems too weak and fragile to suffer my weight.

I feel like going down slowly and slowly. The speed is very slow and with each passing second the chances of my survival are getting lower.

My eyes looked into his grey ones. Trying to find the little care or a sense of humanity. But I don't find it there.

He is Adhvik Kapoor. The devil. The curse himself.

"Are you proud of yourself?" I ask stuttering with the fear.

"Should i be?" He questions back in a very calm tone.

This is annoying me. How can he stay this calm?

"I mean- y- you should be proud of killing your biggest enemy." Words slip in a hustle while i look at the depth of sea behind my back.

I will surely drown if i fell. And I won't live for sure.

His finger trails from my forehead to chin. Making it lift upwards. My eyes stare at his expressionless face.

It is hurting me.

Why?

I don't know. Maybe because he is my husband. Or maybe because i am dying.

Or maybe he is winning. And i never learnt to lose.

"You are my everything. That includes enemy as well. But that's least important. You are my wife." He whispers in a husky tone.

"Wife?" I laugh sarcastically at his comment.

He never considered me his wife so he wouldn't consider it while pushing me off as well.

Closing my eyes, i leave his shirt. My body floats in the air. Just when i was about to go down. Both his hands pulled me up altogether.

A heavy breath escaped my system.

"Let go of me and end this Adhvik." I say in a tired tone. I am not doing this anymore.

Let it end. Let me end.

He doesn't respond with a word instead he smashes his lips to mine. The kiss is a wild one.

His tongue devours my mouth. But this is my least interest at the moment.

A tear falls on the upper part of my cheek. No matter how hard i try. It is affecting me like hell.

"I won't let go of you that easily." He speaks against my mouth.

His breath mingled with mine. I am basically breathing his oxygen.
