ADHVIK'S POV-

"मेरा आसमान ढूँढे तेरी ज़मीन
मेरी हर कमी को है तू लाज़मी।"

My eyes stay glued to her departing figure. As she leaves with the would be wife of my brother. How tragic to have this small world. Or just my plans. We will get to know that later. But it's been only 3 days since i last saw her and seeing her today made me realise how much easy life gets, when she is right infront of me.

How much my eyes crave her.

"Let's go home." Akshat pats my shoulder and i nod following him to the car.

It's been only few hours since i landed here in India, and it's already too new for me. The city is nothing like before. The drive is taking too long to reach my father's place.

"You know dad is waiting eagerly for you." Akshat's voice brings me back to the real atmosphere.

"Right. We are meeting after almost a year." I sigh and then put my earphones to my ears.

I don't think i am up for any conversation, not that i hate him but i need time to reconnect. I am not a sunshine who will just hug him and chatter like a maniac.

Because they say when you become ruthless and cold, it becomes hard to interact like a normal human being. You tend to observe and then speak with calculated words only.

But they also say there's always an exception, for me it's not my family.

It's her. I lose my mind and soul over her. She holds so much power over me. Even though i always say, i hate her but she is engraved like fucking blood in my body. I can barely think of a day when i can survive without her. For once i can negotiate with the oxygen but never her. She is the need.

Without her there's no me.

For instance, I think very soon i will be kneeling in front of her. I am just a prisoner in her prison and i love to be caged in her empire. I fucking do.

My chain of thoughts break as we pull in front of our mansion. It's grey just like our whole personality. The building holds so much of secrets. And so our souls.

"Let's go." I say and then we move to enter the place. Everyone from the staff greets me and smiles in a dreadful way. Like i am some monster or evil.

If not them, then a psychopath definitely.

My lips don't care to pull themselves in a smile, my steps carefully pass the threshold when i hear a loud voice.

"Ruk jao." My eyes follow the person and it's my mom.

(Stop)

"Maa" I genuinely smile at her and she glares at me instead while moving towards me like a hitler.
