nightmares

Nico:

We finally reached the spot the note said. I could sense a single presence aside from Hazel. The spot Led to a passage that went underground. Whatever this thing was it wasn't smart. This was my territory. Suddenly though I felt dizzy. I looked around now disoriented. What was I doing...

Will touched my hand anchoring me back to reality. Hazel... I gripped his hand harshly and kept going forward. Will seemed to be unfazed so far. Finally we made it to a circular room, Hazel sitting in the center tied and gagged. She looked at me eyes wide. She tried to scream something at me but I didn't know what.

I looked around seeing nothing in the room but feeling the presence now stringer than I had before. I looked up only to have something jump down on top of me. My grip on wills hand was lost and I once again was disoriented. I looked up at the thing utterly confused, and then suddenly we were in a different room. Alone.

"Did you really think it would be that easy Nico" suddenly everything was clear. "You" I growled. He chuckled, "Oh Nico Nico Nico... Trust me I will always come back" I just stared at him dumbfounded. I took a shaky breath. I want gonna go back in that hole again. My mind flashed and I screamed. I wasn't gonna see that again. No..no no no... "Not again, it's not gonna happen again"

He chuckled. "Oh but I think it will Nico, I think you want me back~ you saw what I can do for you, the way your body looks~ you love it, and you love me too~" I shivered at his words staring up at the ceiling my eyes wide as I felt something sharp go down my side. I thought for a second and finally I stabbed myself in the stoumach pulling it out quickly. My breath hitched. I stared up at him now smiling.

"That won't change anything Nico~ I can heal that just as easily as will can, but...wills not here and you only have minutes now~" I coughed and blood came up dripping down the side of my mouth. I spat blood into his face. "No... I'll die first..." I groaned. I wasnt scared of him...I was scared of where I'd be again... Trapped and alone. I love... I love will... I can't leave him alone again either.

I was starting to lose consciousness. "Nico give me your body, come the fuck on!" He sounded a little scared now but angry. I'd rather go to my fathers realm than be here but not here... Leading Will on... I felt funny now, starting to nod off a bit. Az shook me hard and I looked up at him. "Nico damnit please... At least let me live inside you, please new deal I promise I won't take over please" his voice was pleading as he looked into my eyes. "You can when I want you to but you have to go back in when I say"

He thought for a second and smiled. "I promise~" he leaned down and kissed me letting his his ghost form into me. I felt myself healing already. I stabbed the body that he was just in and flung it back. ×I told you Nico, you love me~× I kept silent. Suddenly will and Hazel rushed into the room. I looked up at them. They stared down at me and will immediately healed the wounds the rest of the way. "W....what just happened?" Will looked at me now as he helped me up. "I ended it" I smiled as I leaned down and kissed him passionately he stared at me wide eyed for a second before kissing me back.

I pulled away after a second. "Let's get home" I looked at them both. we all started walking making small talk here and there talking about what all happened and shit. Will thought I was terrifying. Well yeah. As we boarded the plane back home I stared out the window. I shouldn't be on a plane, especially with a monster with me but... I had to. My crown was still there. I didn't understand.

I felt exhausted. What was I supposed to do now...
He was back....and I let him...maybe Az was right but I want gonna fall for it. It was me and will and only me and will forever.

Will:

I watched Nico the entire plane ride home. He was only awake for about 10 minutes and was asleep before we even took off. He seemed so normal after. As if something in him had finally snapped back. The blood thirsty look though... It was still there but vengeance was gone. He seemed to enjoy killing more than he did before.

His life just seemed so dark now... Nico couldn't seem to catch a break anymore. I sighed as I watched him twitch him his sleep. He was having a nightmare. He whimpered and flinched again, starting to sweat. He looked so peaceful even in a nightmare. "Fuck... please...dont...I...I...wait.... no." His voice was quiet as he talked in his sleep. He moaned slightly. "Wait I... Please I promise..." he shook his head from side to side a little bit.

What was this dream about. It definitely didn't sound good. "W... Will... Will... Please... Don't.." it's about me? "I... Don't...no...alone...please..." he twitched harder this time. Suddenly his eyes opened and he looked at me studying me up and down quickly. He took a shaky breath and looked at me. "Hey baby, it's okay, it was just a nightmare" I brushed his cheek with my thumb.

He nodded and leaned back staring at me as if id disappear any second. Finally his eyes closed again and he was asleep. I didn't want to know what his dream was about. I didn't Wana be hurt by it. I made small talk with Hazel as we made out way and soon enough we were back in New York ready to drive to camp. Nico woke easily and we got off the plane. That's where we split me and Nico going one way and Hazel going the other.

Now all I could hope for was some peace.
