𝙽𝚊𝚍𝚒𝚊☀️

Right now, I'm standing in front of Sunghoon's house or should I say, a mansion? Sometimes I think having a big mansion is useless because of cleaning so much and too big having to walk constantly just to get food. I prefer cozy and not too small or big a space. ''I hope this evening will pass fast...'' I muttered before getting myself together and pressing the gate doorbell button. As I waited and looked around, someone answered through the doorbell, ''Who is it?''

''Hello, my name is Nadia, I'm here to work on a school project work with Park Sunghoon,'' I said in a sweet tone yet polite to assure I'm not a dangerous person. Soon the gate opened and I walked toward the main entrance door while roaming my eyes around. So clean and many flowers are planted beside the gate. ''Woah beautiful,'' I whispered as a smile formed on my face.

The door was opened by someone making me feel nervous yet curious to chit-chat if the person feels like it. ''Welcome to our house,'' the man said to me smiling politely which left me in relief to meet a nice person. ''Thank you, Mr.....'' I said before stopping my sentence not sure what to say. ''Mr.Park, Sunghoon's father,'' Mr.Park said kindly. ''Thank you, Mr.Park, may I know where is sunghoon?" I said still smiling and stood stiff.

''Ah right, the project work. Go upstairs and turn right and right door,'' Mr.Park replied motioning his hand to direction. ''Thank you again,'' I replied leaving to upstairs and turning right. Standing in front of his door and inhaled deeply before getting ready for what my life was about to write. I knocked three times waiting for his response. ''Come in,'' he said in a robot tone and I opened the door.

''Hey, I'm here to work on project work,'' I said noticing he was lying on his bed with his phone in one hand. I white T-shirt and grey sweatpants yet I'm here in school's uniform. ''Ok,'' he replied still on his phone. I stared at him with a dumbfounded look on my face. ''What do you mean ok?'' I asked him placing my backpack on the ground beside him as I stood next to his bed.

''You said you're here to work? Work on it.''

''You can't be possibly thinking I'm gonna do all alone?''

''Oh yes I do.''

''Park Sunghoon, let's not be enemies over this, shall we?''

''I couldn't care less.''

''At least repay by cooperating with me when I saved your ass in a racing car.''

''I didn't ask for it and I don't care about losing company.''

''Yeah you're right, you didn't ask for it but deep down you never know what kind of path you'll be going through if it went differently. Maybe worse than now, don't you think so?''

He finally looked at me after talking to me while eyes at his phone, I still stood and stared into his eyes. His eyes look so complicated, sad but serious, dark but blank, with no life in his eyes, as if he completely shut his emotions down from people but somehow I could sense it there is still a glimpse of humanity in him but something got him.

"Only 30 minutes,'' he said sitting up and walking toward his desk. I let my breath out in relief. I walked toward his desk and sat next to him, I pulled out a book and paper I found in the library, placing on the desk.

While Sunghoon had his arm crossed over his chest and stared into nothing. Okay but weird. ''Alright, I'll find the info and you'll write it down, what do you say?'' I asked him snapping his mind to reality. He nodded his head knowing he probably wanted to get this done faster.

''Since you made 30 minutes, I might have to come here every day,'' I said flipping the page to find something that would catch my attention. He furrows his eyebrows as if I said something ridiculous.

"The fuck, you'll not,'' he replied in anger tone. I looked at him and placed my hand on his shoulder, ''As I said, this stuff means a lot to me, you either extend the time and I won't come here for one or more days in a week. Your choice but you have to work on it too.''

I gently squeezed his shoulder and a smile plastered on my face before removing my hand from him who was quite flabbergasted. ''Too stunned to speak huh?'' I asked without looking at him while flipping the page. He leaned toward me leaving our face only 5 inches gap and placed his hand on my back chair. ''Stunned? No, just trying to process the level of your nonsense. Give me a moment, it's quite challenging." I leaned back to get out from his face and frowned my eyebrows in his nonsense.

''Well someone's having a bad day, why don't we catch up on work?'' I asked feeling blood rush up in my neck. That's not something I deal with every day with a boy leaning toward me. "Are you nervous?" He asked with raised eyebrows while still gawking at me. "No, I'm not. I just want to finish work faster and we can rest in spare time, don't you want that?"

He nodded his head, finally retreating to his place, and stared at the paper and book. "How about we write about the body?" He asked boring into my eyes. I frowned at his question. "Body what? We chose anatomy it got to do with the body." He sighed and rolled his eyes only showing his white eyeball.

"I mean..." he tried to say something but nothing could come out of his mouth. I suppressed my smile tightly finding it funny. "What are you smiling about?" He asked me with frowned eyebrows. "Hoon, you should drop your frown and start smiling you know?" I replied with a sincere smile this time.

"Shut up, let's get this shit done," he crossed his arms and pushed his hips forward slightly. "Alright, I think we could create the presentation about how each body part is important for us,"  I explained my idea knowing well he couldn't care less. "Like what?"

I thought deeply enough before replying, "Let's say, the heart is to pump blood and oxygen around the body, the brain is to control all functions of the body, interpret information from the outside world, and also embody the essence of the mind and soul." I finished explaining my ideas before looking into his eyes.

He looked back at me with raised eyebrows as if he didn't listen to me. "Yeah, sure." He didn't listen did he... "Did you even hear what I said? Repeat what I said," I asked him with a frown on my face. "Blah blah blah."

"Blah blah blah...?" I repeated him with a confused tone in my voice. I may be the nicest and softest girl in my town but this boy right here is perfect to test my patience to the best. "You know what? I think we should call it off for today. We got to the conclusion for this presentation." I said packing up my stuff feeling frustrated.

Patience, patience, patience...

"So soon?" He asked me while fiddling with the pen. I nodded my head in response and closed my backpack zip. "Yeah, I'm pretty sure you must be tired. I'm tired. We still have a lot of time. Just gotta find the info and write on the A1 paper and then present in front of the class." I finished off with a smile and started walking toward his door.

"Oh, have a good evening, Hoon," I stopped my pace to send goodbye. It doesn't matter who is he to me, it doesn't hurt to be nice and wish someone a good day, evening, and night before going home.

He didn't say anything back to me and went back to his bed. I looked away and left his mansion to home. "So cold attitude..." I muttered walking on the sidewalk. From my assumption, he must have a hard time on something.

There is always a reason why people are unhappy and rude. But no need to be an ass and throw your negative thoughts and attitudes toward people.
