Unsurprisingly, the boy looks up at her in shock, mesmerizing her angel-like beauty for seconds before snapping back into reality.

" I- Uhm, Yes, I'm alright! "
The white haired boy with an odd haircut, Atsushi stutters a little before replying to [Y/N]'s concerned question.

She walks over to the boy that was dying of starvation earlier after getting an ' I'm alright ' answer from him. Acting ; Furrowing her eyebrows, she asks him in a confused way, " Where did you come from? "

The white haired boy looks up nervously at her before standing up and rubbing the dirt and dust off his clothes.

Atsushi pauses before speaking, hesitating whether to tell the unknown woman infront of her the truth or not.

" I.. " He starts, scratching the back of his neck nervously.

Before the poor boy can even start speaking, she already cut his words by hers.

' Well if it isn't Dazai Osamu drowning himself. Might as well take this as a chance to skip the part where he tells me that he's a kicked out from an orphanage, eh? '

She looks away from making eye contact with him, quickly changing the subject,
" Hey! Why is there a person drowning!? "
She points at the man in the river as she grins, curious to see what Atsushi would do.

' Now, Atsushi-kun. What are you going to do? '

' I said that I would attack the next person to appear and steal their wallet but the girl infront of me seems like she doesn't own one, and this one doesn't even count! '

As Atsushi keeps seeing the drowning person in the river infront of him keeps shaking his feet repeatedly, Atsushi jumps into the river as the nice person he is and brings him onto surface.

Cough , Cough

Dazai quickly opens his eyes and gets half of his body to a sitting position as Atsushi was startled by the man's actions.

Atsushi stands up and asks the man worriedly,
" You were floating in the river. Are you okay? "
The man looks around, trying to process what was happening until he started,

" .. I was saved? "
".."
" Tch. "

In disbelief,
' Did this guy just "Tch" at me!? '

As the man looks at the younger male with a weird-ass haircut, he asks,
" Are you the one who interrupted my drowning? "

" Interrupted!? I was trying to save-"
The boy pauses.
" Wait.. Drowning? "

As [Y/N] had already seen this scene replay in her memories when she was around 13 years old, she lightly chuckles, putting her palm against her mouth, making the two males turn their attention to the girl who looks about the same age as the weird-ass looking haircut boy.

Dazai turns his head over to [Y/N], kneeling and taking her hand before smiling attractively and looking into her eyes.
" Ah, my apologies, m'lady. Would you accept the offer to commit double suicide with me by any chance? "

She chuckles lightly again before grinning widely,
" Seems pretty interesting. I might just consider it, "
She smiles, despite knowing what lies behind that seemingly attractive smile.
Every soft, attractive and heart-melting smile he gives always has a hidden meaning behind it.
