"So that's why you didn't go?" Jane asked her brother Bobby on the phone as she was sitting at her office desk printing out posters she had finished designs hours before on her computer. "That's exactly why, he's lucky I didn't tell mom, she's already worried about a lot this just takes the full list."
Continually...phone conversation
Bobby: "speaking of Mom. She mentioned you."
Jane: sighs "Did she now?"
Bobby: "Yeah, she was asking how you're doing."
Jane: rolls her eyes "I don't really care what she thinks."
Bobby: "I know, but she's still our mom." Some mother she was, what mother in their right mind would let their daughter be sexually abused all her life? That's what Jane wanted to say but for the sake of peace for her family she didn't; she didn't even mention it, not to bobby of course, god knows what he would do with those open memories.
Jane: pauses, her voice softens "I know, Bobby. It's just... it's complicated."
