When my alarm rings I immediately jump out of bed.
"Jen! Wake up. We have to go to work!"
"What time is it?" she moans.
"Time for work. Get out!"
I dress up and put a slightly make up on.
"We're at the restaurant today," Jan says.
"I know. And we have very important guests."
She barely woke up and dress herself.
At 6 am we're already at the restaurant.
"Whiddon and Abbot you're right on time. That is impressing. Whiddon you'll be at the restaurant today, and Abbot you'll be in the kitchen. The next day you'll switch."
We both nod.
"Have fun," I say to Jen and leave with main waitress named Joly.
"Okay, Ava. Your tables are there by the windows. You walk to the guests, asks them what they'll order, you're polite and nice."
"Okay, fine. I can be polite and nice."
Five minutes later first guests arrive. This is an elderly couple, who order a coffee with milk and eggs with bacon.
I serve them, then I turn and see Carlos and Lando. They sat down, so I wait about two minutes before I walk to them.
"Good morning. What can I bring you?" I look to Lando. Ahh, he's cute.
"A tea please," he smiles.
"Okay, what tea? Black, fruit, herbal, green, Chai, Earl gray?"
"Hm, a herbal, please, with honey and a bit of milk." He smiles so perfectly again.
"And for me black coffee, please," Carlos adds.
"Okay. What should you eat?"
"What do you recommand?" Carlos asks.
"Mashed eggs, waffles, cheese, cottage, salami..."
"I'd like some waffles please. With nutella."
"And you?" I look Lando again.
"Same. Thanks."
I write the order and walk to the kitchen.
"Jen!" I call.
"What?"
"They are here. Both of them want waffles. Hurry up!"
At first I bring them beverage.
"Do you need anything else? A sugar maybe?" I ask.
"No, thanks," they both reply.
"You're sweet yourself enough right," I smile. Lando blushes, Carlos laughs.
What did I just say?!
I rush for the waffles.
"Enjoy," I wish them.
"When you end your shift?" Carlos asks.
"I just start."
"I see. But I wonder when you end it?"
"In twelve hours."
I smile and leave. After 12 hours, when all the guests leave, it is time to clean the restaurant. Lando and Carlos weren't came to lunch and dinner.
"Girls, tomorrow you have a day off. You did a great job today," Joly says.
"Great. This means we can go to the beach?" Jen asks.
"You can do whatever you want. Except, hanging with our hotel guests."
"Where is the point of day off then?" I ask.
"I am pretty sure you didn't make any friendshipsh here, am I right? There are some old billionaires, what should you do with them," Joly laughs.
"You're totally right," Jen says and grabs my hand.
We arrive to our room.
"I am so sick of this job!" I say when I ripped off my uniform.
"I want to be at the sea, on a yacht, drinking cocktails, hooking up with some hot guy," I say as I step under the shower.
"You mean, hooking up with Lando?" Jen laughs.
"Aahhh, Jen. He is so gorgeous. His smile, his lips. I promise you, I am going to kiss him soon."In the next morning we decided to go out in the town. In the lobby we met Carlos.
"Hi, you're not wearing uniforms," he says.
"We have a day off," Jen says.
"Oh, so we can hang."
"No we can't. You're a hotel guest," I add.
He steps out of the hotel and smiles widely: "Not anymore."
We laugh.
"Where is Lando?" I ask, while we walk down to the park.
"He has some media things this morning. Later he'll join me at the yacht."
Oo, he got my attention.
"Yacht?"
"Yep. We're going to do some cruise. Maybe to Italy."
"This sound so pleasant. Jen's wish is to go on the yacht some day. And she really wants to see the beautie of Italy."
Jen looks at me seriously.
"You two can join."
"Jen, did you hear that?! Your dreams will come true. Perfect! What are we waiting for?! Let's go!" I applaused.
Carlos hugs me around the neck, I hug him around his waist and we walk down the park to the pier.
"Why are you in a bad mood?" Carlos asks Jen.
"Oh, it is nothing. I have cramps."
I roll my eyes.
"So, here is our yacht for today. Come on," Carlos says and helps us on board of the White beauty.
"Ava... We don't have swimsuits," Jen whispers.
Oh, we really don't have them.
"We'll improvised, Jen. Relax."
"Beer?" Carlos asks, handing me an ice cooled beer.
"Thanks. So, when did you say Lando will join us?"
"As soon as possible. What you two would like to do? We can't swim here, but we can listen to the music, drink, eat..."
"Hm...tell us something about you."
He pulls off his T-shirt and sits next to me. I look at his muscled arms and tanned body.
"What do you want to know about me?"
"Why formula?"
"I don't know. My dad is a racer too. I started with karting, then I want more. Now I am here."
He smiles. Oh, he is gorgeous when he smiles.
I found myself staring at him. So I caugh.
"Khm, nice."
"And you? Why you dislike sport?"
"Not that I dislike it. Opposite. I was competing in equestrian when I was younger."
"Oooh, dressage?"
"No, jumping."
"Lando's sister Flo is a horse jumper. Did you hear about her?"
"Really? No, I didn't. Oh, then I have some topic to talk about with him."
I smile widely.
He nods: "But this is a dangerous sport, huh? Did you broke something?"
"It is not that dangerous like F1," I laugh. "Our speed is way lower then 300 km/h."
He laughs too.
"And no, I didn't broke anything. I had some serious falls, concusions... I only have a problem with my right knee."
"Why did you stop?"
"It is a long story. We don't have that much time."
"Okay, another time then."
I nod.
"Where is Jen?" I ask suddenly. She was sitting next to us, but now she dissapears.
"Jen!!" we both call.
"I'm here!" she calls from the downstairs. "I was looking for a toilet."
"And, you found it?"
"Mhmmm. Ava, I am not feeling okay. Maybe I should return to the room."
"What? Why? Please, stay here. I can't be alone with two completely strangers."
"Khm, khm," Carlos caugh.
"Sorry," I smile to him.
"If you're not feeling okay, you can lay down in one of the cabins for few minutes," Carlos offers. He is so nice.
Jen looks at me.
"Carlos is right. Maybe you'll feel better in few minutes."
"Okay then."
He escort her downstairs.
The sun is very strong and it is very hot on the deck. I decide to sunbath a little so I put my T-shirt, shorts and a bra off and lay down. I can't wait to jump to the water.
"I was thinking-" Carlos starts and shuts up.
"Sorry, it is really hot. I decided to sunbath a little," I say and lean to my elbows.
He is standing there, watching me.
"Is something wrong?" I ask.
"No, you're..."
"I am... What?" I laugh.
"Nothing. Just...enjoy. I'll be right on the corner, waiting for Lando."
He turns to leave.
"I thought we'll wait together. I can dress myself if you want."
"You can stay like this if you wish... I'll leave you."
He left.
I stood up and wear a T-shirt. I walk to him, he's laying on the deckchair with a phone on his hands.
"Are you okay?" I ask and sit to him.
"Yeah."
"You look weird."
"Thank you for being honest."
"I always am. So, tell me, Muscle boy, what is wrong?"
"I..."
"Hello?! Is anybody here?"
