(This is a very short Prologue. I might expand it in the future but for now this is it ToT)

It was a dark and stormy night on Jorvik. The only sounds to be heard was the heavy rainfall and the crackle of thunder. A girl rode on horseback through the Hollow Woods, the whistling wind whipping her drenched hair behind her while her horse took long, accelerated strides.

In one hand she held a lantern filled with Will O' Wisps, and the other slick leather reins, a satchel draped over her shoulder. It was hard to see through the rain and mist, but she knew the woods like the back of her hand. Aideen's light guided the way, and the path eventually revealed itself.

She made her way up the mountain, her robes flowing behind her as she arrived at her destination, the old Druid paddock. She swung her leg over and slid off the saddle as her horse eased into a stop, then patted her mount's wet neck before approaching a robed figure who had been awaiting her arrival.

"I assume you have it?" They spoke, expectantly eyeing the satchel.

The girl nodded, reaching into it and pulling out an ancient looking book. The Light Ceremony book.

The figure gave a curt nod before taking it and vanishing into the darkness.

The girl watched them leave before pulling herself back into the saddle and riding off into the night.
