(Kanae's point of view)
While we fiercely battled, a hatchet sliced off the right hand of the demon I was battling against and I looked over his right shoulder to see a man standing behind him. "Don't move.", he snarled. Angry with the sudden interference, the demon turned towards the man and began battling him instead. After fifteen minutes of this, the demon was forced to flee and the man turned to me. "Are you alright?", he asked. "Yes. Thank you so much for saving my life.", I replied graciously. "It's no problem. What is your name, young one?", he said. "Kanae Kocho.", I replied as I put my sword back into its sheath. "Say, what about you?", I asked just before we left the area to start heading towards where he lived. "It's Tanjuro Kamado.", he responded. Within a week, we got there and two boys happily tackled him. "Papa!", they said. "Shigeru. Rokuta.", he replied. "Please be careful with your father, Shigeru and Rokuta!", a female voice said. "Yes, Mama!", Shigeru and Rokuta replied before we went into the house together. "Welcome home, dear.", the woman said as she turned around. "Kie.", Tanjuro greeted in reply. "Mr. Kamado, who is this?", I asked him and he turned to me. "Kanae, meet my wife Kie and our two youngest children Shigeru and Rokuta.", he replied. "Hello.", I said. "Tanjuro, don't worry about Jacinth, Nezuko, Takeo and Hanako. They will be home later.", Kie said. After over a hour, a boy and three girls entered the small house and sat down at the table. "Father, who is this?", they asked. "Jacinth, Nezuko, Takeo and Hanako, meet Kanae Kocho. She'll be staying here on this mountain with us until she fully recovers from her injuries.", he responded. "Hello.", they said. "Hello to the four of you too.", I replied while smiling at them.
