CHAPTER-2

Ishika's pov:

Time skip:

"The ceremony is now over. I now declare you husband and wife."The priest declared while everyone cheered for us.
"Now you both go and take the blessings of your elders."
After taking everyone's blessing it was time for my vidaai,I was feeling very anxious. The ceremony took 2 hours to complete and I spent it all panicking. I was leaving my childhood home,I was leaving behind so many memories from my childhood to now but most importantly I was leaving my family.
"Ishika please take care of yourself and please remember to call us or visit us once in a while" My mother said while trying her best to not cry.
"Ishi beta we will always love you and take care of yourself. Your mother and I will miss you alot my child" My father said while trying to maintain his composure.
"Maahir, please take care of our darling. She is now your responsibility. Please promise us you'll never hurt her." My mother said to Maahir.
"I promise I'll take care of Ishika and I'll never hurt her" I felt shocked when Maahir said.
"we love you beta and we will miss you alot sweetheart"
"beta take care of yourself"
Everyone in my family was shedding tears while bidding me goodbye.

Maahir's pov:

In the car:

We were on our way to my family mansion in jaipur. Ishika was looking out of the window,admiring the nature outside while I was admiring her.
"When will we reach?" Ishika asked in a tired voice.
"I think we will need 20 minutes more." I answered while taking a glance at my watch

Time skip:
The rest of the car ride was filled with silence and soon we reached my Haveli.
It was all decorated on the occasion of the wedding. My mother along with a few family members were waiting for us at the doorstep for Ishika's grihapravesh.
After her grihapravesh,she was escorted into our room by my bhabi and sisters. I was about to join her but I was approached by someone.

"Are itni jaldi bhabi ke pas jane ki,hame to itni jaldi bhul gaya."
"Are aisi koi baat nahi hain. Tujhe bhi Pata hain hamare saath pehle kitna kuch ho chuka aur ab hum thak chuke hain."
"Tu abhi bhi Priyanka ko bhula nahi hain?"
"Hum to usse bhul chuke hain par uska dia hua dhokha kabhi nahi bhul paaye aur shayad usse bhi."
"Par agar tu usse abhi tak bhul nahi paya hain to tune Ishika se shaadi kyun ki?"
"Karni pari. Baba ki jab tabiyat kharab hui to unhone hamse wachan liya ki hame unki pasand se wyah karna parega."
"Par uss bechari ka kya kasoor? Tune to uski zindagi tabah kar di."
"Usse bhi samajhna parega ki iss rishte se usse koi ummid nahi rakhni chahiye. Aur rahi baat zindagi tabah hone ki, woh ham kabhi hone nahi denge."
"Jo bhi karna soch samajh kar karna."
"Hum hamesha sab kaam soch samajh Kar hi karte hein."
"bare aage soch samajh kar kaam karne waale." Shaurya mumbled under his breadth.
"Tune kuch bola?"
"Nahi,nahi ku-ch nahi. Waise main chalta hun acche se rehna."
" Accha thik hain acche se jaana'' they both hugged each other and Shaurya left.

Maahir was walking to his room while his head was filled with alot of thoughts and to calm his nerves he went inside a room.

Ishika's pov:

"-tune Ishika se shaadi kyun ki?"
"Karni pari. Baba ki jab tabiyat kharab hui to unhone hamse wachan liya ki hame unki pasand se wyah karna parega."
"Par uss bechari ka kya kasoor? Tune to uski zindagi tabah kar di."
"Usse bhi samajhna parega ki iss rishte se usse koi ummid nahi rakhni chahiy-"
Enough I nearly shouted when I heard the conversation between Maahir and that man.
