In the morning, Ben woke up on his own. He couldn't believe this was happening.
Today, he was going to marry the love of his life.
He got up from the bed and his best man, Jim, arrived, soon, along with his sister Regina and Jim's girlfriend Martha, who were supposed to get him ready.
It only took a while and Ben sighed at the sight of himself in the mirror, wearing his wedding suit. Both him and Ben had them sown especially for this occasion. Ben's suit was black with the initials B & L, sown onto the collar in golden thread. Larry's suit looked the same, but it was dark grey.
As Ben stood there, Martha said: "Wow, sweetie, you look great."
"I can't believe this is happening. Me and Larry. It's...amazing." Ben said, wiping his eyes.
"Aww, baby. Don't cry." Regina said, hugging Ben. He said: "I...I'm sorry I just...I love him so, so much."
Regina chuckled and said: "You don't have to be sorry for that. We all know that and we are so glad that you finally found someone, who makes you happy like Larry does." Ben smiled and kissed her cheek.
Jim said: "Alright, we've got about half an hour and we need to make sure you and Larry don't see each other. It's a tradition."
"I know. We planned it like this. I just..." Ben said and looked down. Martha said: "What's wrong?"
Ben sighed and said: "I hope Larry doesn't get cold feet. He tends to be a little...insecure and oversensitive. He just can't accept the fact that I chose him and I'd choose him again anytime."
"Oh, that's sweet. You should add it to your vows." Regina said and Ben chuckled: "I have."
......
Meanwhile, Larry was getting ready for his big day, too. He had Simon and Mat with him. He also stood in front of the mirror, but at Simon's house, where he stayed the night. He said: "I don't know if it's a good idea."
Mat said: "What do you mean? The ceremony starts in half an hour."
Simon said: "You have every right to change your mind. But tell me...you've been talking about Ben since you two met. You've always wanted this. It's okay to get cold feet. You just can't let it come in between you two."
Larry sighed and looked at his engagement ring. They exchanged those during one evening, when they both asked each other to marry the other one on accident. He smiled at the memories and the thought of his soon-to-be husband. His mind raced as the two men sat on the bed, hoping that he won't actually change his mind for the sake of his own happiness.
Larry said: "Let's do this then.", and both men smiled.
......
"Knock, knock." Larry heard as he was waiting in a room to be called to the altar. He turned towards the door and saw a familiar face. It was one of the people he argued with Ben about inviting, George.
George was Larry's ex. Larry didn't want to invite him, but Ben convinced him to do so, since George was a friend of both of them and it was him, who introduced Ben and Larry.
"Hi, Larry." George said, closing the door behind him. Larry said: "What do you want?"
"Oh, I just came to congratulate you on your...luck. Although...it is kinda unfortunate." George said, a mischievous grin on his face. Larry said: "What are you talking about?"
George sat down on the bed next to him and said: "You know, you and Ben. I mean...I really didn't want to bring this up on your wedding day, but...it's doesn't really suit the two of you. Ben should be with someone...let's say...hotter. Larry, I've been with you for some time and you and me both know that...if you didn't have that thing in your trousers, most guys wouldn't even look at you. I understand that Ben is mostly a bottom, yes?"
