𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟏

Louis POV: Present day
Louis: Age 19
Harry: Age 17

I knew today was the day that Harry was starting at my college, i had known since Harry had got into this college. Me and him still hadn't had a proper good conversation for 2 years ever since I got a girlfriend, I made all my feelings for Harry go away and I now loved Eleanor.

Me and Harry wasn't friends anymore but I still had a soft spot for him, he was still the kid I had known since I was two and the one I wanted to protect.

Right now I was driving down Eleanor's road to pick her up for school, I pulled up outside her house and saw her come out in a short skirt and a crop top. She looked good I couldn't lie about that, when she got to the car she leant over and kissed me passionately before I drove off. I put my hand on her thigh as we drove to school, it was the first day back of college and it meant a new year. I was in year 3 of college since I started when I was 17, hence why Harry was starting today with his new friend Niall.

"If any other guys look at you today I will personally rip their heads off" I tell Eleanor before we get out the car "You know your hot when your possessive" she says and I chuckle and we get out of the car. Liam and Zayn come over to us and greeted us both, I knew they didn't like Eleanor much but they got along with her for me. The whole college even older years were scared of me, Zayn and Liam because we was that trio. I can't tell you how many fights I've been in since I was 16, I've won every single one and don't plan on ever losing.

As we walked in I had my arm around Eleanor's waist making sure no one was looking at her, but everyone was smart not to since I would kill them. As we walked past people they stopped talking and a few people nodded my way as a sign of respect, I was the main reason everyone was scared to be honest. Zayn mostly just held the person for me but he also had his fake share of fights and so did Liam, but Liam mostly just found the person and took them to me.

We entered the canteen and everyone was silent as we sat down, i quickly snapped my fingers and everyone started talking again. It was something that I had to do or people would stay silent the whole time, I was quite creepy I had the control like that but it was fun sometimes.

"Lou can we go make out?" Eleanor asks and Zayn and Liam chuckled and I nodded. "Piss off" I say to them and take Eleanor's hand. I lead her to our normal spot which was literally right on my locker, I had her pinned like normal and we was shamelessly making out. That was until our principal cleared his throat next to us, we both turned and I smiled cheekily while Eleanor blushed out of embarrassment even though we had been caught a number of times. "What have I told you before louis?" He asks me "Not to do homework ?" I ask shrugging while grinning "No I've told you to stop kissing your girlfriend in the school hallways, people don't want to be seeing that especially the new first years" he scolds and I nod. "As punishment both of you are helping out with opening day and I want Liam and Zayn to help aswell" he says and I groan in annoyance "Whyyyy" I whine like a child "Be in the gym by 10" he tells me and I nod.

Me and Eleanor make our way to find Zayn and Liam holding hands as we walk, we get to the first class which we all had together and informed the teacher about the situation and she let them go. It was now 10:10 meaning we was late but none of us mind, we opened the sports hall doors and saw the principle talking to all the first years who was sitting in chairs. The noise made him look over making all the younger kids look over as well. We make our way to the stage "Louis your late" he says "Fashionable late" I say and a few kids that heard chuckled but I rolled my eyes.

Me, Zayn and Liam sat on the 3/4 chairs that were sat out for us but Eleanor sat on my lap, all 4 of us talked until we heard our names. "These students here-" he says pointing to us "Are here for a punishment they will each get a group of you and will be your supervisor for the day, we have Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Eleanor Calder-"he says and stops when he sees her in my lap we both smile and he rolls his eyes. "And Louis Tomlinson" he continues and all but louis wave at the first years. "so I'll put up on the board your group and your supervisors name, and I'll give your older year supervisor a list of your names as well and then you go and find them" Mr lynch (principal) tells them. Then a hug list of names goes up on the board but in don't look but then Liam tells me "Louis you've got Harry and Niall" and I shoot my head to the board. Shit no, no this couldn't happen my plan was to avoid him as much as possible. "Please find your supervisor" mr lynch says and everyone gets up. I groan but after getting told to find my group I get up and sit in the edge of the stage and let the kids find me.

I see Harry and Niall making their way to me and I groan making a boy ask "what's wrong with you?" I shoot my head to him "piss off little boy" and then someone behind me growls my name and I loo up. "Louis don't even start it!" Mr lynch warns "What's a worse punishable thing then this?" I ask grinning "I'll separate all your and Eleanor's classes" he says and I'm fully aware all the kids are listening "Ok and we'll ditch and make out somewhere else" I say shrugging "This is a punishment so introduce yourself to all these people" mr lynch tells me. "I'm louis but I don't like any of me so call me your royal highness" I say cheekily and I get told off again "I'm joking call me daddy" I say winking to. I one in particular and I get told off again "Well I don't want them using my name" I tell mr lynch "It's your name for a reason" he tells me and I roll my eyes "Everyone this is Louis he's a 3rd year" mr lynch tells them. "Like they didn't know my name" I mumble making a girl at the front giggle and I try not to roll my eyes.

I glance to see me lynch is over with Zayn now so I look at all the kids looking at me. "Stay here for a quick sec" I tell them and jump off the stage and go over to Eleanor. "sorry guys she'll be back in a sec" I tell her group taking her hand and telling Zayn to cover for us. We leave the hall and get to the hallways before Eleanor grabs my face and kisses me, we stay out their for 10 minutes until Zayn tells us mr lynch knows where we are. So we both go back in and see mr lynch looking angry with both our groups next to him. "Where did you go?" He asks "To do homework" I smile sweetly and I hear Liam cackle behind me so I shoot him a glare to shut him up. "You all need to take them on a tour of the school, and do it properly!" He warns and tells us all where to start off.

Zayn started in the canteen building while Liam had to start in the gym, Eleanor had to start outside and I had to start in our library. "Make sure to ask lots of questions!" Mr lynch yells as we all leave the hall. "Tommo you actually gonna do this?" Zayn asks as well all walk to where we're supposed to go "Apparently" I say while pulling my phone out. "See you in an hour" he say and we separate now im left with a group of 10, 17 year olds.

"Do you guys wanna just go and do something on your own?" I ask turning to the younger people "Your meant to give us a tour" a girl says "Ok and?" I ask "So give us a tour" she says "I wish I would hit younger people" I mumble and she gasps and I chuckle before walking towards the library.

When we get there I tell them they have 5 minutes to just walk around it and check some books out, while they did that I text the group chat.

Me: Can't we all just meet up and do this together?
LiI guess but I'm sure we'd get spilt up
Z: I'm down these kids are weird
El: Ofc
Me: Come to the library then

And 5 minutes later all 4 of us and the younger are here, a kid from Zayn's group asks why we are all together but none of us answer. "El you do the speaking" Liam says and she smiles happily and tells everyone to follow us and she grabs my hand and we all walk off with the 1st years trailing behind us. "These will be your lockers that you can keep your personal belongings in, just don't keep drugs or youll get caught like Louis" Eleanor says and I look at her with a raised eyebrow "is this what it's gonna be, 'don't do anything louis has done' because personally think they should" I say and she shrugs and I roll my eyes. We stop at the toilet so they can all piss, Zayn and Liam come up to me. "Have you talked to Harry yet?" Liam whispers "I don't talk to him when I go round his why would I talk to him here?" I whisper back and him and Zayn both shrug.

Soon the tour was over and they could all go to normal and go to lunch, Liam and Zayn went to the bathroom while me and Eleanor was sitting down. Zayn and Liam come rushing back and quickly say. "Louis you know Luke?" Liam asks "what year?" I ask "4th" Zayn says "Yeah?" I ask confused "Well he's pinning Harry to a locker" Liam says and I stand up "Stay" he tells all of them and he walks out. I shoot around corners looking for them and I do and see Harry getting pinned against a locker by the kid he had beat up last year.

I walked up to them and shoved Luke to the ground holding his collar and says "Never touch him again got it" and Luke nods and scrambles away. "What the fuck did you do to piss someone off already?" I ask turning around to Harry. He looks shocked at first that I was talking to him after not for 2 years "N-nothing" he stutters out "Well you obviously did something" I say and he gulps looking scared "I'm not gonna hurt you Harry calm down" I say and he nods "what happened?" I ask "He saw my nail polish and called me names" he tells me and I clench my fists but unclench them. "Tell me if he ever talks to you again" I say and he nods.

I start to walk away but Harry calls my name and I spin back around "Why did you protect me?" He asks "I'll always protect you" I say and leave quickly and going back to my friends and girlfriend.
