Y/N WAS GOING BACK TO SCHOOL, and to say she was paranoid was nothing compared to what she was genuinely feeling. She was constantly looking over her shoulder, trying to seek out anybody suspicious. It was extremely hard to do that though because everybody, including teachers, were looking at her. They all found out about what happened, and they were all scared out of their minds, yet that didn't stop them from making jokes or anything of the sort. Their opinions on Y/N were all different though. Some people thought she faked it, others thought she was going insane, and majority of people just hoped she would end up okay. She walked through the halls with her head low before she finally made it to one of her classes, the feeling of a pair of eyes still on her. She eventually got used to the feeling, but it wasn't like it didn't affect her anymore. She was still creeped out, looking around every chance she could, or if she felt like the stare was getting too intense for her.
Calmly staring down at her desk, that's when the H/C haired female felt a tap on her shoulder, causing her to turn her head. There was her other two friends, Stu Macher and Billy Loomis. They had confused looks on their faces, and she just knew what was about to happen. They were going to bombard her with idiot questions she wouldn't know the answer to at all. She just groaned and decided she'll take it.
Stu was the first to speak up, his voice groggy and slow as he spoke, and his dimples flexing against his cheeks in the process, "So, like... What did the killer say to you that night..? Did you guys like.. Hang out for a couple of minutes...?"
"No, you asshole.. They clearly didn't hang out. The poor girl is traumatized," Billy added, his dark eyes glancing at the teen that simply buried her face in her arms. She tried to drown out her thoughts, but they were only becoming louder. She just wanted to crumble up into nothingness and not exist anymore. Partially because of the embarrassment she felt from Stu's stupid questions. The two were just so predictable it was crazy to her sometimes.
Stu glanced back at Billy and chuckled loudly, the same high look shown over his face when he did so. He didn't know what else to say, so he just looked back at the silent Y/N, his eyebrows raising against his forehead when he realized how different she was acting, "Oh, wow... You must be really traumatized Y/N. You aren't even speaking...!"
Rolling his eyes, Billy pursed his lips before he sighed deeply, his hands gently making contact with the silent woman's shoulder. She raised her head up from her arms with a low grumble that made an almost offended expression come from Billy, "I'm sorry about Stu and his stupidity. That's just how he is, we all know that... But what about you.. Are you feeling alright?"
Y/N tried to shrug off the situation she was in, but she knew that wouldn't get her anywhere either, so she opted to tell the truth, and she did just that, trying to make it more light hearted than she'd like, "Yes, I'm feeling alright, and yes. I am also used to Stu's idiotic way of words, but right now.. I'm not sure I want to hear it."
"Well... Could you atleast tell us what happened?" Billy questioned her, watching the way her facial expression contorted into a look of irritation. She couldn't believe he had the audacity to ask her something like that, especially since she'd just gotten back at school for not even an hour.
The taller man looked back at the nervous Billy, and he flashed him a dopey grin as usual. He didn't bother concealing his low giggles either, and that really set the H/C haired girl off. Just knowing that her friends had no empathy also did the trick too. It felt like only Tatum was the one that actually cared for her, and that hurt, "Uh oh... I don't think that was super smart, Billy.."
"Oh yeah? I'm shocked you even know what the word smart means, dipshit," Billy scoffed out before he kept making eye contact with the same quiet Y/N as before, his face softening just by the look of her, "Listen. I'm sorry... Uhh.. What I meant to ask was.. are you sure you'll be alright in school without any of us around?"
Of course Y/N didn't think she would survive, especially without anyone around, but the both of her friends just angered her so much she had to practically force herself to nod her head and let them know she would be okay, even if she was lying straight to their faces, "Yes. I'll be fine... I've survived this whole situation, didn't I?"
Billy nodded his own head with a chuckle that left his throat before he adjusted himself in his seat, a dark look showing through his captivating eyes as he eyed her up and down, almost in admiration, "That's right. I knew you would be alright on your own. You're you, after all..."
"Yeah, exactly! If I were in your shoes, I would probably.. never show my face to the world ever again!!" Stu chimed in with laughter as he noticed that the female didn't shoot him a stare not once. All she did was stare at the Billy that stared right back at her, her heartbeat pounding in her chest while they did this.
