Taylor is planning a tour called the eras tour, to celebrate her 10 years of music journey. she decided that those shows will be three hours long with dozens of clothes that she drew over the pandemic

now, on February 2022 everything is getting into form. she already rented the stadiums for the United States tour, showed her outfits that she sketched to a designer, wrote the whole setlist and now she's thinking about choreography

she already has a team of dancers but because of the amount of choreography the tour will need she should have enough dancers so that they can rotate and not need to be on the stage the whole three hours

so she looked for dancing agencies and it added up to a date where she is going to a dance and arts academy that is really well recognized in New York.

tomorrow is the day people are auditioning for her!

while that, there is a little girl on the gigantic professional dance school. her name is Evangeline, well evie or lily.

her father, mark, is the janitor for this school and he stays there the absolute whole day just cleaning the school.

evie doesn't have a mother, her mother abandoned her when she was 4, now that she is 10 she suffers a lot by missing her mom and not having a really present dad.

so she doesn't spend the day home alone, she always stays at the dance school. she always have been there since she started walking, her dad always brought her there and the people there basically adopted her. although evie basically doesn't pay for classes, she just stands in the corner rehearsing and doesn't really participate in class unless the teachers allow her

they have to share a bed and live in a tiny tiny apartment and sometimes food is a problem, they eat their meals for "free" at the school but at home their fridge is basically empty.

evie just came out of a advanced nightly ballet class, she uses a used ballet flat someone donated to her, a leotard that is 3 sizes too small but she is so skinny that she makes it fit, and her hair in pigtails because she doesn't have a bobby pin and pigtails are the only hairstyle she can do without it looking messy

she meets up with her dad and helped him to clean the gigantic windows and ballet floor

"daddy let's put some songs on!" evie exclaimed

"sure" he said picking up his phone that barely works properly and searching his daughter favourite on YouTube, Taylor swift

"YAYY TAYLOR!" evie smiled as "the one" started playing, her and her father know all her lyrics by heart

they finish up by midnight, evie was fast asleep on the rehearsal room floor and her father just signed out and change his clothes

"come on evie wake up" mark woke her up

they walked home that night, mark heart broke as the only thing he could feed his daughter was plain rice.

the next day he woke up really early because even tho today is Saturday mark had to go clean the school extra early today because a guest would be there auditioning for something that is a mystery. he can't leave evie home alone since she's too young, they don't have food at home and because they live in a dangerous place

"wake up lily" mark shook her awake

"dad I need to sleep!" she mumbled

"and I need to go to work, come on you can sleep on the subway" he said
