Thick tension filled the whole room.Kakucho announced something that made the whole bonten executives—minus mochi, who got killed in his penthouse this afternoon made the rest of the members ablaze.

Mikey isn't pleasant to hear the news.How can someone get a nerve to kill one of his subordinates in his own house.For him, it felt like a challenge.Who ever dares will go against bonten will die mercilessly. The incident somehow sending the platinum blonde such a disgrace.

Based from the information that kokonoi received. It happened between two am in mochi’s penthouse.He was preparing for a business partnership that will happen three thirty in the afternoon.He got shot bullseye's in his head which result to hi death.

Bonten's underlings started to find any information they, check every surveillance cameras around mochi's house, asking his maids, guards and bodyguards but to their luck. His body guards also got assassinate.No leads at every surveillance cameras inside and outside his home either.

Mikey ordered everyone to find the murderer.He was certain it's a good assassin who'm someone hired to assassinate his subordinate because of bonten or somehow because of personal feelings to mochi.

The Bonten's president wanted the murderer to be alive and brought to him.

Yet he felt even more rage as the days went by and there is still no lead or suspect about mochi’s assassination.That certain time when Kakucho suggested him to hire a detective, at first mikey was hesitant yet he agreed for the sake of mochi.

“A detective?!”sanzu shrieked. “we don't need such help! We are bonten! We are capable of anything! ”

Kokonoi rubbed his forehead, shooking his head. How can sanzu be this dumb? “cant you see it sanzu? We don't have any idea or leads as can you see.Hiring a detective somehow can help”

“and if it can't help? I'll kill you both of belittling bonten”sanzu trace glares to Hajime.

“enought the two of you, we all certain we just wanted to catch that bastard who killed mochi.This is also’s Mikey decision made”akashi, the advisor spoke.

Sanzu clicked his tongue.He threw himself in the long couch along with the Haitani brothers.

Sooner their gaze averted to the door when Kakucho peeked.“she’s here”he said.

‘she?’all members except Mikey thought of one thing. Is the detective they hired a.. woman?

The door swung open. Revealing Kakucho and a woman behind him. As soon as sanzu spotted you, he charged towards you pointing his gun at your forehead.

You whistled as everyone watched through their sits.

“What are you doing here you bitch? ”sanzu growled. He was even more than ready to shot your brains out, glint of annoyance and hatred in his eyes.

A smirked formed at your lips. “is that how you treat someone who will supposedly help you? You're pathetic”

Sanzu eyes widened hearing the insult. He grabbed the collar of your brown coat furiously. “watch your words bitch, what the fuck are you saying help huh? We don't—”before he finished his sentence, you grabbed his hands holding your collar. Twisted it to his back and stole his gun from him.

“your boss called me here you little brat, stop pointing your fucking gun at me”you said before shoving him in the couch and flashed a smile to everyone.

Kakucho coughed which caught your attention.You looked at him as he led you to one of the seats, specifically the seat on Mikey's desk. You were now facing his dead obsidian eyes.

‘man, does this emo even try the word sleep?’you thought.

Mikey looked at you.Staring at your features firmly. “Let's get to the point y/n, I want to hire you to track down who killed mochi.. ”his voice was cold and dangerous. You can see the anger in his eyes.

“If I refuse?”

“what—”sanzu was taken back at his seat. Kokonoi shoved him back.

Mikey shot you a glare. “Are you gonna kill me if I refuse?”you asked, “afterall I just can't accept this job from you if one of your subordinates just showed something I dont like”

“what if I'm gonna kill you if you refuse this? ”manjiro

“yea go ahead kill me, I don't care really sano”

Mikey grabbed his gun and aimed it at you. “you don't really care huh? ”he grasped.

He pulled the trigger, the bullet passed through your cheeks. Not even it made you flinched as it is just walked by passed you, not receiving any injuries. Mikey sighed of your fearless attitude, so was the others.

How come you don't even show any emotion of frightened by what Mikey did.

“what will I receive if I accept this offer anyways? ”you crossed your legs, lean your face in your palms.

“Money. Bonten's thankfulness”mikey answered.

“eh?you guys know how to be thankful? that's new”

“watch it you bitch—!”mikey glared at sanzu, making him shut his hiss.

You hummed. Tapping your fingers against your cheeks, acting like you're thinking. “well… ”
