Onto the whole point of this....

Hi, guys. Ruko here... I'm not dead.

As you may have noticed (or maybe you've been just as absent as me or you just don't care---- though, if it's the latter [which is valid dgmw] why are you even here?) I haven't updated in a WHILE. If you're here reading this, you'd probably like to know why.

It's not really any one thing, honestly. I don't want to say I grew out of it cause no, I have not grown out of fanfiction nor this Fandom. Or writing, even. I write so much these days I put "past me" to shame (the me that updated two to three chapters a DAY, at least 1k words each).

I've been focusing more on some original books when it comes to writing. A lot of which were originally fanfiction, but I ended up going off the rails and into a whole new world. I still write fanfiction on Ao3 from time to time, but for a different fandom. Under a different username. If you can guess the fandom (better yet, the pairing) I'll tell you my username.

Anyways.
I physically cannot write for this pairing anymore. Gon and Killua, that is. I still ship them, I mean, even Togashi does. But I just lost that spark, I guess, for them. Maybe it's the lack of source material to keep me fed. But whatever happened, happened, and I just can't anymore. I've tried. Oh, I've really tried. I can just tell that my writing quality has dimmed when I force myself to. It saddens me, honestly. I miss all this.

Not completely.

I understand how frustrating it can be to not get the full story once you're invested. SO, I'm going to do some closure chapters, which are basically going to be a summary of how the rest of the story would play out.

I'm gonna shoot for like 5k words for each of these, so it'll be a bit before every story has one.

I also have a lot of Killua x Gon drafts and I honestly think it’s a shame to leave some of them unseen, so if I ever wrap any of them up I'll post them here.

ALSO!!! If anyone wants to adopt one of the stories, or like rewrite it or whatever, lmk and I'll send you what I have, and you can fly with it!

I really really really appreciate everyone that I've met, interacted with on here. And everyone who read any of my stories, thank you. You all gave me a reason to love myself. You made me realize how much writing means to me, how much it helps me. And I'm so thankful that I've gotten to help some of you, too.
