Five - Paradise

Marcy's water breaks and immediately, the group realizes as water drips on the ground. Anna tells Marcy to lie down and Anna grabs a bag of chips as a pillow for Marcy to rest her head on. Marcy is told by Finn that she'll will be okay and Marcy smiles at her son Finn. Finn steps up and asks the group about the plan to get revenge on the Brotherhood for the deaths of Lorenzo and Dante. Cameron patches up his face and he thinks that they should cause a distraction to draw roamers away from the gas station so Marcy can give birth. Marcy thinks it's a good idea but Tiffany thinks that the group should all stay at the gas station while Marcy gives birth. Margo suggests that one adult and the kids should stay with Marcy at the gas station while the rest of the group goes to kill the Brotherhood. Finn thinks that they should combine Cameron's distraction plan with Margo's plan and the whole group agrees. Finn goes over the complete plan and Finn says that the plan is that Finn, Tiffany, Cameron, and Margo will go kill the Brotherhood and then after, they will cause a distraction like playing loud music so Marcy can scream all she wants during childbirth. Finn says that they will find out where the Brotherhood resides by following muddy footprints. Anna says that she wants to stay at the gas station to give Marcy comfort during childbirth and Finn agrees. Cameron tells BJ to stay with Kimberly the whole time and BJ says "Okay!" and Margo signs to Kimberly "Stay with BJ." and Kimberly signs "Ok." Margo says that Marcy needs at least three hours to give birth and Finn says that he'll make sure the entire Brotherhood is dead before those three hours. It starts to get dark outside as Finn, Tiffany, Cameron, and Margo get weapons and they leave the gas station to go kill the Brotherhood while Marcy, BJ, Kimberly, and Anna stay behind. Before Finn leaves, Marcy tells him that she loves him and Finn gives her a hug. Finn leaves the gas station and Anna tells Marcy to start pushing and Marcy start screaming out of pain. The squad outside immediately ducks into the woods as the screaming starts and Finn decides to follow the footprints in the woods. Marcy starts giving birth as roamers hear the loud noise and they start moving towards the screaming. Finn and the others run through the woods and Finn sees a group of roamers slowly, turning into a horde and going to the screaming Marcy. Tiffany comes across the tree that Finn tied Anton to and Finn sees that Anton escaped his death. Finn suggests that they should go look for Anton after killing the Brotherhood and the trio agrees. Finn and the others start to run again as BJ tries to turn Kimberly's attention away from Marcy in pain and BJ signs to Kimberly "We should play hide and seek. I'll go first." and Kimberly agrees. Cameron points out a red glare in the distance and Finn finds the Brotherhood's campsite that Dante found. The now horde of roamers make it to the gas station where Anna tells Marcy to keep pushing as Marcy wallows in pain. The roamers channel the hivemind and more roamers come to surround the gas station. Anna realizes they're surrounded and Anna grabs a knife just in case. Finn sees the thirty Brotherhood members camping and Margo suggests that they should all bum rush the Brotherhood but Tiffany wittingly tells Margo to never make a plan again. Finn says that they should sneak up on them and Cameron and Tiffany agree with Margo feeling cornered and then reluctantly agreeing. Finn sneaks up behind a Brotherhood member and slices his throat open. Another member goes to reach for his knife but Margo shoots the member through the head. A fight ensues against Finn's squad and the Brotherhood and a whole hour and a half goes by and Finn and his squad kill all the Brotherhood members. One member plays death and then tries to run away when he sees his friends dead and Finn tackles him to the ground. The member says that he was the one that killed Dante and he says that Dante was tender and tasty. Finn's rage reaches a breaking point and Finn decapitates the member with his knife. Finn remembers that they said they would look for Anton and Finn's squad follows Anton's footprints as Marcy is still in childbirth. Anna tells Marcy to keep pushing as BJ hides in the bathroom and Kimberly finishes counting and she starts looking for BJ when she walks in on Marcy giving birth. The roamers growl at the sight of Kimberly and Kimberly gets scared and runs into the bathroom and she sees the corpse of her father Emmett. Kimberly freaks out and falls on the ground as Finn's squad follow Anton's footsteps and they eventually make it to Franklin's house. Anton stands over Franklin's dead body and he slowly loses his mind and Anton decides to set off Franklin's car alarm so the roamers will come and eat him. Anton goes into the backyard with a hammer while laughing and he breaks Franklin's car window and that causes the car alarm to go off. The roamers hear the car alarm and go towards it and Anna sees the roamers walking away and she smiles. BJ sees Kimberly crying and BJ comforts her as Finn's squad break into Franklin's house and Anton sees the squad and Anton walks back in the house and tries to shoot the squad. Finn ducks behind a couch as Cameron grabs his knife and Cameron bum rushes Anton and Anton punches Cameron but Finn takes this opportunity to shoot Anton in the head. Anton's lifeless body falls to the ground as the car alarm makes Franklin's house become surrounded by roamers. Finn sees outside that they're surrounded but also, they remember that Marcy no longer has roamers trying to get her. Finn makes peace with that thought but Tiffany snaps him out of it and Finn is brought back to reality. Margo panics as the roamers are trying to get in but Finn remembers one thing that the Brotherhood members did. Finn tells his squad that the Brotherhood members used to disguise their human scent by wearing human guts so they can walk through roamer hordes. Tiffany asks Finn where they're going to get guts from but Finn points to Anton's dead body. Cameron says "Oh hell no!" but Finn says back "It's the only way out!" and Tiffany says that they should at least try the plan but Cameron keeps saying no and he looks at Margo so someone else can defend him but turns out, Margo likes Finn's plan and Cameron shakes Finn's hand, agreeing to the plan. All of a sudden, Marcy starts having trouble pushing out the baby and Anna sees the panic in her eyes. Marcy feels her heart start to stop beating fast and Marcy thinks that she will die during childbirth. Marcy tells Anna to operate and set up an c-section before she dies and Anna is hesitate to do it but Marcy's heart starts giving out and Anna picks up the knife and Anna starts slicing into Marcy's stomach while Marcy is still awake. Marcy screams as Anna cuts into her stomach. Margo cuts open Anton's body and Margo paints the squad's shirts with Anton's guts and intestines. Tiffany pukes on the ground due to the smell and Finn tries to wipe off Anton's excess blood off his hands but it doesn't work. Finn opens the door and roamers start to pour into Franklin's house. The roamers walk right past the squad and Finn and the squad swiftly walk through the multiple hordes towards the gas station. Marcy starts to spit up blood as Anna is close to finishing the c-section. Marcy accepts that she's gonna die so Marcy tells Anna the name of her baby, which is Sheldon. Anna acknowledges the name and Anna sheds a tear as Marcy dies in her hands. Anna finishes the c-section and Anna cradles Sheldon as he cries. Anna smiles as she looks at Sheldon and BJ and Kimberly enter the room and they see Marcy's body and Sheldon crying. Kimberly cries as she sees Marcy's lifeless body and BJ comforts her. Finn and his squad make it back to the gas station and Finn wakes in on Anna cradling Finn's new baby brother Sheldon, his mom Marcy dead, and BJ and Kimberly crying. Finn breaks down as he realizes his mom Marcy didn't survive childbirth. Finn falls to the floor in sorrow as the world around him becomes blurry. Tiffany cries as Cameron and Margo hug each other in pain. Anna hands Finn his baby brother and Finn holds him and Finn slightly smiles as he sees Sheldon for the first time.
