It's February 16, 2011. It's been three months ever since the birth of Sheldon Churchman and four months ever since the apocalypse started. Finn and his group are still living in Emmett's gas station while no other people have joined their group. Cameron and Margo take in Kimberly and they turn out to be great parents for her while BJ has his birthday and he turns eight years old. Finn still hasn't gotten over the death of his mom Marcy so Finn has become kind of a brutal mistrusting leader to his group. Finn still takes care of his baby brother Sheldon in every way he can while Tiffany and Finn's romantic relationship strengthens. Anna tries to rebound from the death of her abusive husband Anton but mentally, she can't bring herself to fully date another man because she fears that Anton will put his hands on her, even though he's dead. Cameron thinks that he can't be a father figure to Kimberly because Kimberly will always be Emmett's blood daughter but after a while, Margo caught on to his guilt and she told him that blood doesn't mean anything. Kimberly teaches Tiffany sign language and that bonds the two girls together. The day starts and Margo and Finn are the first to wake up. Margo is tasked by Finn to go get baby formula for Sheldon and Margo doesn't really like the job but she does it so Sheldon can be happy. Margo grabs a machete and walks out the gas station as Tiffany wakes up and Tiffany says good morning to Finn and she kisses him. No matter how hard he tries, Finn can't get over the death of his mom and this causes Finn to dream about her every night to the second he closes his eyes to the second he opens them. The rest of the group wakes up as Margo can't find any stores nearby to search. Margo thinks about going back to the gas station but all of a sudden, Margo sees a helicopter flying above the forest with the single word "PAMALON" spray painted on the helicopter. Margo looks in awe as the helicopter flies in the opposite direction. Margo decides that she should tell the group about the helicopter so Margo goes back to the gas station as Finn's group goes about their day until a woman archer shoots an arrow through a window and the woman then jumps through the broken window. Cameron and Finn tackle the woman to the ground and they tie her up. As the woman wakes up, she says that she means no harm and that her name is Peggy Coylina. Cameron confiscates Peggy's bow and Peggy says that she has come here to recruit Finn and his group to come to her survivor settlement with her. Finn asks Peggy what's her settlement like and Peggy says that the settlement is called Pamalon Island and that it is on a secluded island surrounded by water where roamers can't get them. Peggy looks at Sheldon and Peggy mentions that Pamalon has a homemade school building on the island as well as baby formula. Tiffany perks at the idea of living on an island where roamers can't get you and Finn perks at the idea of Sheldon living a world not dominated by the undead so Finn and Tiffany look at each other and they ask Peggy more questions. Peggy says that the Pamalon island governor Reuben Hamilton does survivor scouting missions where a select few chosen by him will fly a Pamalon helicopter and find survivors. Peggy also says that they use helicopters to also find food, weapons, ammunition, and water. Finn asks Peggy when is the next scouting mission but before Peggy can say, Margo bust in the room to tell the group about the helicopter she saw. Margo says that she saw a flying helicopter with a word painted on it and Peggy calms her down and tells her about Pamalon. Margo understands and Peggy remembers that today was a scouting mission day. BJ and Kimberly untie Peggy and Anna hands Peggy a calendar. The group and Peggy huddle around the calendar as Peggy says that the next time Reuben will send people on a survivor scouting mission is in three days, so the next mission is on February 19. Peggy tells the group that the scouters in the helicopter always stop at the Orlando International Airport because the airport is a hotspot for many survivors to be picked up. Peggy asks Finn if they want to come live in a beautiful paradise but Finn doesn't trust Peggy because Pamalon just sounds too good to be true. Peggy tells Finn "Would you rather fight to find your paradise or wait for paradise to find you?!" and this sentence makes Finn reconsider since Finn wants Sheldon to have a peaceful life at all cost but also, Finn wants to keep his group safe. Finn starts bickering with his self in his mind about the decision to go with Peggy and Cameron gives Peggy her bow back. Finn takes his one time opportunity to go with Peggy and Peggy tells Finn's group to go pack everything they want to take to Pamalon and that they'll leave the gas station in one hour to start heading to the airport which is one hour away. Cameron and Margo help their daughter Kimberly pack and Kimberly signs to Cameron "I love you daddy!" and Cameron tears up as his dream of being a father has come true. Cameron hugs Kimberly and Margo smiles as Cameron excuses himself so he can go outside right quick while Margo helps Kimberly. Cameron pays respect to Emmett's grave and Cameron sits a flower onto on his grave as he murmurs the words "I'll take good care of her. I promise." and Cameron heads back inside. Anna helps BJ pack his bag and BJ puts Anna's favorite chips in his bag and this puts a smile on Anna's face as Anna put BJ's favorite chips in his bag as well. Finn and Tiffany pack their bags and Finn out of nowhere asks Tiffany if this is the right decision. Tiffany tells Finn that everything he's done has been in the group's best interest at heart and that there will be no one else that she would trust more to make the right decision than Finn, and Tiffany kisses Finn. One hour goes by and Peggy tells Finn and his group that it's time to go so Finn's group and Peggy start walking to the Orlando International Airport.
